Unless Ortiz is fighting someone good then this is a pretty weak undercard.

I thought the excuse for the crap Charlo fight is that hurd is injured. Instead they are fighting bum mismatches on separate cards. And Luis Ortiz are on the card but the key piece of info is they are in separate fights. It's really hard to understand what PBC is doing. SMH

Ortiz is on the card in case Fury goes off the rails again before the fight.

Yea I've heard that being said by other cats. Seems like solid logic & a good backup plan.

Although that probably means Ortiz's opponent will be weak, but I hope I'm wrong. I wouldn't be mad at seeing Ortiz vs Breazeale or Kownacki.

Joyce is still a baby, but I suspect they'll put him in with someone halfway decent that might have some fans thinking Joyce could lose or its a live dog fight.

Looking at the contenders for Hurd's belt that seems likely to be a garbage fight vs some cat no one has heard of or seen fight anyway. And can't fault Hurd too much for that cuz he just had surgery on his shoulder a couple months back.

Ortiz probably being paid well as back up for Fury just in case.

He's the only other heavyweight that could hold up the PPV vs Wilder.

            Good move

Joyce is like 33. He should be fighting Washington on this card from what I hear.

I meant in the pro game he's a baby. So I know they gotta move him fast, but not THAT fast.

And yea now that you bring it up I think I recall Washington's name being mentioned before. I like that fight & that seems like a fight you could say Washington is a live dog in.

So would Ortiz fill in last second or just beef up the undercard?

Hurd is the one who wants a tune up after his shoulder operation.
