I wouldn't say ALL that. Although I agree with your google glass comparison cuz this is the future, but I do feel a lot of people aren't ready for this.

Then again when the next Canelo fight pops up & people realize they don't gotta pay $80 to watch it & they can just pay $10 for one month or one night & then cancel the service they are gonna figure sh^t out. Might take a fight or two, but I'll be super curious to hear how many people are paying $10 twice a year to watch Canelo fights & saving $160 or w/e.

Are we sure about this? I'm not so sure, but I'm curious to see. I mean thats what they are gonna have to produce. If there is no Canelo vs GGG III or Joshua vs Wilder or any other big PPV worthy fight & lotsa lower level PPV caliber fights this streaming sh^t ain't gonna work & they aren't following their blueprint.

Hell most people under 35 don't even watch tv anymore anyway and STREAM EVERYTHING. And that is the demographic they want anyway
Like I said. You don't have to listen to the guy who did this for over 10 years. You can listen to someone else. But what I'm not gonna do is go back and forth with someone (you) who doesn't have anywhere near the first hand experience I have in this field. You're in a bubble. I'm in the field.

        You can debate someone else.

It isn't a debate. I am not talking about some 70 year old lady. Most people under 60 years old have netflix and/or stream music on Spotify, etc. Is that not right?

When I was in the residential field at least 5 times a week I'm running on calls saying "cable is out" and I go to the house and just put the TV on the correct input.

And this was AFTER customer service already tried to walk them thru it. So imagine how many runs customer service saved by walking them thru it over the phone.

Tens of thousands of customer contact. But don't listen to me

I was told I'm a boxing noob for not watching Canelo vs GGG either time but now that the mexican warrior is on DAZN how could I hold off on watching him ? This streaming service is pulling fans back in that had become jaded with the sport over the years ,as well as new casuals. It's just flat out great for boxing and boxing fans.

                It's not a debate because

#1 you didn't read where I said the average sports fan is accustomed to pre installed apps on their TV (Netflix, YouTube) and simply pushing a button and receiving service (Spotify). The average person isn't accustomed to mirroring apps from their phone to their TV. Or connecting cords from their phones to their TV. And the under 35 is as technologically illiterate as the over 50 because they're used up pushing one button and everything works.

#2 You have no idea what you're talking about.

This isn't a debate. This is a lesson

If Canelo-GGG III is on DAZN for $10 how will they make the same amount of money as they made on PPV for $70? I don't see how the numbers add up. Let's say they get 1 mil subs for that fight. That's 1 mil at $10 instead of 1 mil at $70 that they just did. I just don't see how they can make up that big of a difference

I think the hope is that big fights will attract subscribers who will STAY on the service past those big events, and keep paying $10/month. Obviously, many people will subscribe for a fight and cancel immediately afterwards. But DAZN is banking on customer retention.
