Im just saying bro from a consumer standpoint I want some quality and broner is a scrub.

And he didnt have to sign with al haymon to fight mayweather again
He's not trying to get an attractive fight he's trying to get a fight with a name that he can still beat. If that was the case he'd be calling out Errol Spence or Shawn Porter or Keith Thurman the other champs at 147 under Haymon. He wants a fight that he can win but still get good ratings and revenue for it. Broner is the perfect name.

I agree but I also think Manny is looking to hedge a bit in the event Mayweather doesn't come back. There are one or two other fights that he could grab good coin for in Haymon's stable and not get clipped. Danny Garcia seems like the perfect alternative fight (if no floyd).

if broner wins, it just mean he beat an old manny. it has nothing to do with him being "serious".. or "motivated"..

Pacquaio's last version (as seen in the Matthysse fight) would lose against a well-prepared Broner.

But with Pacquaio-Mayweather II on the horizon, it is very unlikely that it will happen.

Pacquiao has become much slower. That means he's not going to win against top level fighters.

Everyone seems to subscribe to this myth that Broner could win all these fights where he gets totally outclassed if he just "took it seriously".

Dude, he is what he is. And he's just not that good. He's a B level guy at best, and some would even put him dangerously close to the C tier.

Could he shock the world and beat Manny? I mean sure, but not because he "took it seriously". Manny's about to be 40 years old for f**k's sake and has been in 70 damn fights.

Broner doesn't lose these fights because he doesn't take them seriously...he loses them because he's not on the same class and level as these guys.

Danny just lost. Come on Butch. There is no way Broner wins and PBC does Manny/Danny-a match between 2 guys coming off losses.

                  Reread my post lol

I never said anything about Manny losing. I'm saying, if he wins and Floyd jerks him, then Danny is an option.

I can't wait to see/hear some of the sh** Broner is going to say leading up to this fight. And then seeing his reaction immediately after the fight when he gets his @$$ whooped lol he'll probably have a meltdown of epic proportions lol
