I agree but I also think Manny is looking to hedge a bit in the event Mayweather doesn't come back. There are one or two other fights that he could grab good coin for in Haymon's stable and not get clipped. Danny Garcia seems like the perfect alternative fight (if no floyd).

You’re right, that’s exactly what I thought. The Mayweather rematch is the one I really want to see, I know they will do it because they already talked about it but if for some reason it doesn’t happen, I would like to see Pac vs Thurman for the real belt and Pac should retire win or lose.

Everyone seems to subscribe to this myth that Broner could win all these fights where he gets totally outclassed if he just "took it seriously".

Dude, he is what he is. And he's just not that good. He's a B level guy at best, and some would even put him dangerously close to the C tier.

Could he shock the world and beat Manny? I mean sure, but not because he "took it seriously". Manny's about to be 40 years old for f**k's sake and has been in 70 damn fights.

Broner doesn't lose these fights because he doesn't take them seriously...he loses them because he's not on the same class and level as these guys.

Exactly, we are in 100% agreement. The only reason I think Broner could win this is because Manny is old and semi-shot. Broner has some skills, but he really has been one of the most overrated fighters in recent memory. He'll lose, but I think it will be a good scrap.

Right, the real factor is Manny's age. A typical Broner still loses, but a motivated could well beat a very faded Pacquiao.
