The Molina fight was always last minute because the WBA were dragging their heels on sanctioning the Klitschko fight for the vacant belt.

Yup, I can't believe he's now fighting decent opposition 40 fights into his career either ... and twice in a row!! although this is clearly an attempt at a cherry pick by Wilder's camp, they don't want him in there with a 100% Fury who even said himself that he wanted another fight before facing Wilder, and that was when he was stood in the ring following the immediate announcement of that matchup.Comment

How ironic that you bringing up the man who actually fought and KO 'King-Kong' Ortiz, suggesting that somehow Wilder was ducking or afraid of Luis Ortiz? How does that work in your head fella? Did you miss the fight?Comment

Agree, Oritiz should have gone the AJ route especially as Wilder fans will tell you; AJ will lose to Ortiz and is a ducking coward: Hence made no sense to go Wilder route..........unless Ortiz felt Wilder is the weaker of the two and easiest to beat. Still should have gone for the money.Comment

"Eddie and I are working on maybe doing a big money three fight deal for Luis Ortiz so it looks likely to happen soon. Eddie could make Luis a big star in the UK," Jimenez told BoxingScene.com.
Yeah, how did that work the 1st time?Comment
