Oh so what you're saying is wilder wasn't at a point after stiverne where it was smart for him to fight someone of the calibre of Ortiz. It would have been bad business financially and in terms of his career.

Much like it would have been bad for AJ to come off a first defense straight into Ortiz for another voluntary when an agreement had already been made to fight Klitschko subject to the WBA's sanctioning. Approval.

The Molina fight came just after, and as Ortiz was completely unknown to UK fans, it made sense to have him fight a well known UK HW on the AJ/Molina undercard to raise his profile in the UK before the WBA mando was ordered.

Plus, Molina was coming off a good performance vs Wilder, so his UK profile was much higher than Ortiz's back then.

Do you think in the grand scheme that Luis Ortiz fighting/signed with Matchroom five months later some how negates Ortiz arguement that he should be given his shot, that he deserved, after working for Hearns? But like I said in a earlier post, where are Eric Molina or Breazeales high profile UK fights?

No, he was already the WBA mando before AJ won that title, and he remained in the WBA mando spot till he left Matchroom and failed a PED test for the Wilder fight.

Your post in inconsquential to mine, as you missed the bigger picture, the point was : regardless of which title Oritz would of stood to gain, the fact remains Ortiz was signed to Eddie Hearns but Hearns protected Joshua and decided to give lesser challengers like : Breazeale, Molina opportunities that Ortiz had EARNED, fighting for Matchroom on SKY.
