Jermall doesn't have a lot of options, so it's not a surprise he's taking a stay busy fight, however I do not think this will be close. Jacobs looked absolutely horrible against Sulecki, I said so during that fight and will say so again now. I don't think he took him seriously and had a much harder fight than he should have. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jermall finishes Sulecki in 3 rounds, but gets beat by Jacobs.

This also isn't headline worthy. If they're gonna give Charlos their own shows, at least wait for an opponent people can get excited for.

No one probably wanted the date. It's 3 days before Christmas. It was probably offered to Spence and Garcia before Charlo. Spence and Garcia probably headline seperate cards in January.

I don’t really rate Sulecki tbh, he’s just busy, has no real skills. He’s a decent fighter but he’s not going to test Charlo IMO.
I wanna see Jermall in there with a top guy at 160 but there aren’t many available atm so I guess that’s why we’ve got the Sulecki matchup.

Sorry but it just seems like this is the level of fight Charlo wants and he wants it against a non puncher. Certainly Charlo could have had Jacobs, Jacobs wanted it.

Charlo had a lot to say to Golovkin back when it was clear that Golovkin was focused on Canelo but now that the WBC has called for Golovkin/Charlo, with the winner getting a title shot, he is mum. Suddenly instead of pushing Golovkin for a fight in January he says he must fight in December, virtually eliminating a chance to fight Golovkin for many months.

Should be a good fight. There will be a significant size difference in Jermall’s direction. I was surprised by how well he did against Jacobs. Maybe this is a good eye test to see how Jermall will do against Danny, even though we all know the triangle theory doesn’t mean schit
