Idk that this is the MA commissions fault. Are they supposed to let someone fight who got busted with a banned substance? I'd say no. They are trying to keep all participants safe & be diligent in doing so. And that seems like a thing VADA's test results would help them do.

I think there could be a lawsuit against the WBO. Key word there is think. I'm of the opinion the WBO has no agreement with VADA, which may not be the case I'm not 100% on that. But from my understanding BJS & Andrade come to agreement on this VADA thing of their own accord & I'm not sure the WBO should be stripping BJS over this as from my understanding they don't really got PED rules, although again that might be incorrect, but I know they don't got a deal with a testing agency like the WBC does. But again the key word is THINK BJS might have an argument/lawsuit that he shouldn't of been stripped of his belt.

Randomly how many cats have been stripped over a failed PED test? I don't think thats happened THAT often thats for sure.

I think the WBO should be on solid ground; he failed to get a license for a signed mandatory defense. Regardless that statement seems to suggest BJS relinquished the belt himself.

On a side note the statement itself is absolutely horrific; it reads like Warren scrawled it on the back of a toilet door. It's a rambling incoherent mess.

He has not yet been given a suspension, WBO is going to recommend 6 months. And he wasn't stripped, he voluntarily gave up the title, which means he will leap frog WBO rankings to challenge for the belt once his suspension is over.
Man if that is your narrative then stick to it. Obviously you are a fan. So it would be a pointless exercise in futility to expect any form of objectivity from you because if I did then you wouldn't be much of a Saunders fan now will you?

It's just that I'm able to detect and know bullshit whenever it surfaces. The WBO is doing exactly what it had promised to do if Billy Joe Saunders would have been denied a license from the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission.

They promised to strip him of his WBO title if he wasn't allowed to box in that state and they did just that. This is nothing more than a face saving smokescreen in order to protect Frank Warren.

Saunders isn't even an American. How is a foreign national going to sue an American entity for the *privilege* of being granted a license to box in a fight where he's in breach of contract? Is Warren smoking Crack?

not saying I think that, just saying that Warren said that

I think where Frank Warren has erred in his logic is in reading the Massachusetts athletic Commission substance testing rules. They only refer to testing for items on the WADA prohibited items list. The rules do not invoke the WADA protocol for when a substance on the prohibited list can be in a combatants system.

Wow is frank warren bitter. I really think they just have to accept it and move on. Bringing it up through a court process is just going to tarnish his name if it fails, at the moment I think people are a bit behind him.

Sorry my friend you are wrong. What I provided you was fact, what you provided was conjecture. Neither did I support nor condemn BJS's use or non-use of drugs. What I did was presented you the facts objectively as they have been laid out.

Quote from the President of WBO:

“BJ Saunders has voluntarily vacated the WBO Middleweight Title, and publicly apologized for his violation of the Massachusetts Athletic Commission's anti-doping regulations. Therefore, the clash between Demetrius Andrade and Walter Kautondonkwa scheduled for October 20th will now be for the vacant world crown," Valcarcel said.

“He already relinquished [the title],” said Valcarcel, who’s in Omaha for the WBO welterweight title bout Saturday night between champion Terence Crawford and challenger Jose Benavidez Jr.

“He voluntarily did it. We were ready to start the process, our internal procedure, to strip him.”

The WBO were going to begin an investigation which is what they have to do before then can strip Saunders of his title. So based on the facts, you have been shown to be the subjective one, and apparently a dis like for Saunders is whats causing it. I like BJS as a boxing fan, and I had Andrade defeating him, possibly by knock out. Whether he was telling the truth about the nasal spray never even made it into my post, so where do you find a narrative, or a bias? The answer is that is your narrative.

Not at all chief, I just don't believe everything I read. I try to read between the lines. This is nothing more than spin coming from the WBO. You said there was going to be an investigation but that is not what they told the MSAC. I heard them loud and clear. They said "strip". I can repost the article if you like.
