Trust me they’ll all buy into whatever BS narrative Hearn creates, and that’s coming from a Brit.

      Be interesting odds.

I think the bookies here will have Whyte as a slight favourite.

It’s not an easy sell on PPV for casuals.

‘Here’s this guy you may have seen outbox Dave Allen on an AJ undercard or chase around another man for 12 rounds in Monte Carlo. I can assure you despite appearances he isn’t 73 years old.’

It’s still a good fight and maybe Ortiz will be cheaper than Chisora.

I’d be very surprised if Whyte didn’t beat him as well.

Ortiz showed good counter punching skills against Allen, but he didn't impress the fans because of his plodding, reactive approach.

Plus, Allen is known as a guy with a big heart, but little else, and he was coming straight off a bad beating against Dillian Whyte.

Re Hearn letting Ortiz go ... Fast Eddie had no say in that because he was working with Ortiz on a fight by fight basis. Ortiz was a free agent after the Allen fight.

don’t want the fight. I told Luis no because we already offered him the fight here for the December 1st card and Whyte refused and when the WBC gave him a mandatory against us he also refused so why go on his terms and fly to the UK? That makes no sense.

^^This pretty much sums up those Hearn cowards. All smoke an mirrors and they are all liars. Whyte didn’t think Ortiz would accept

Am so glad these two are up for this fight, if this deal gets done then we the fans get our wish. There should be life after Joshua and Wilder, we need the others to start fighting each other. Hopefully Miller, Pulev/Fury winner, Breazeale and others get in the mix.

I'm guessing the Chisora fight is already signed, so Ortiz is too late.

Whyte wants none of that!!!! Whytes team will purposely give him a low ball offer and say he priced himself out

Whyte went the full ten with Allen, Ortiz got the TKO7.
