        WHY ?
I dunno why Canelo wanted to win a middleweight belt if he didn't want to fight middleweights. Ask him.

Canelo had been chasing a payday with Cotto for YEARS

since long before little old faded 153lb Cotto accidentally picked up the WBC middleweight title when Martinez leg fell off in the ring

Canelo is not ****** enough to walk away from that HUGE Cotto fight

          ..... like Golovkin did

that fight turned Canelo into a SUPERSTAR

he only started doing phenomenal numbers since that fight

          also.....

" I’m not a middleweight,” Alvarez told a group of reporters recently. “I’m a super welterweight. That’s my weight class.....

..... We’ve said it along, and that’s the misconception,” Eric Gomez, Golden Boy Promotions’ vice president, said regarding Alvarez not being a true middleweight. “He’s a super welterweight. The only reason he became the middleweight champion is because he wanted to fight Miguel Cotto. Miguel Cotto put the conditions [in place], as the champion, and that’s the reason. And [Alvarez] won the title."

hey, why did you lie and say that GGG/Ward would not be for a title?

why did you lie, and say that Canelo/Golovkin at 155 would be for a title?

why did you forget that Bullshltkin was more than happy to defend his title at catchweight against Rosado?

why did you forget that Bullshltkin totally refused to negotiate on weight..... despite the fact that Team Bullshlt promised to fight Canelo at 154..... and despite the fact that Team Bullshlt promised to negotiate on weight if Canelo vacated?

Then don't fight for a middleweight belt.

              eventually, he didn't..... he vacated

              despite saying this.....

"..... against Canelo there wouldn't be any negotiations about the weight. It would be two middleweight champions fighting each other at 160lbs. Now if Canelo vacates the title and it becomes a voluntary fight..... then anything is negotiable - the money, location and weight.".....

..... once again, after Canelo vacated..... Team Bullshlt totally refused to negotiate on weight

Bullshltkin was willing to negotiate on weight with no-hopers, but not with superstars

              158 for Rosado, fine.....

              158 for Canelo..... no chance

which is eerily reminiscent of that..... 168 for Froch, 164 for Ward nonsense

even when the "title doe" excuse got burned, they promised to negotiate on weight for a voluntary..... but nope, that negotiation also died over weight

Golovkin was willing to fight for Ward's title at catchweight, but not Canelo's

To Rosados credit he refused the catchweight that his promoter insisted be put in the contract. K2 issued a statement shortly after the fight that there would no longer be any catchweight fights for Golovkin. Golovkin also in an ESPN interview confirmed that. He was asked point blank if he would fight Canelo at a catchweight he said no and that Floyd was the only fighter he would cut weight for. Get over it man it's an obsession with you. He may well end up fighting at a catchweight in the future but for now he hasn't.

so..... you think that promoters of the SUPERSTARS Canelo and Cotto, had no say whatsoever..... but as soon as Rosado's promoter made a demand, Team Golovkin simply hopped to it?

FACT: Bullshltkin was willing to negotiate on weight with no-hopers, but not with superstars

you were lied to kid, and now you are embarrassing yourself

Because he's a b!tch. At least he didn't hold the division hostage. He could have cried about being forced to fight a real middleweight but to his credit he gave up the belt as soon as he could so he could go beat up no-hopers at 154.
