I would love to see GGG vs Charlo fight, although not through principal.

This is a chess move by we be crooks to protect Canelo from a high risk/low reward opponent, keep to their rules by eliminating a mandatory and set up a 3rd fight with GG.
If Charlo beat GG, at least his name would be enhanced, benefiting Canelo & GBP.

Golovkin gave up a belt to fight Vanes.

GGG was forced to give up a belt because HBO refused to pay up for the Derevyanchenko fight.

Not surprising considering we now know they are getting out of boxing, so why would they pay up for GGG to defend a belt, when they know they are doing GGG vs Canelo and then no more GGG fights.

Imagine you are Derevyanchenkos team and you know that if you just demand obscene money, you will get to fight for GGG's vacant belt instead of having to fight GGG. What would you do if you were managing Derevyanchenko?

He now has a shot lined up vs Jacobs for the belt they stripped from GGG. So their plan seemed to work wonderfully.

Not exactly. He gave up the belt to make sure he will be in shape to fight Canelo. An injury in May against Derevyachenko=no fight with Canelo in September. Why take the risk? And if you think GGG was afraid of Derevyachenko, try to reduce the blinding hatred and think again.

Being a GGG fan I have to say Charlo is not being treated fairly by WBC. It would be an interesting fight though if Charlo - GGG happens. But when? GGG wont fight until 2019. Then in spring 2019 against Charlo and Canelo in September? GGG will be 37,5 then. Oscar's strategy of waiting for GGG to walk with a cain into the ring will play out nicely.
