He beat the guy in the eliminator fight.

Granted he was one legged or w/e, but it was an eliminator & wtf is Charlo supposed to do cept KTFO of the one legged guy?

He's definitely jumped through more hoops then average to get a big name fight doe. Some of these mfers get big fights & ain't done sh^t or even fought a eliminator. That mando dude Spence wasted his time on is an example of politics more than this situation.

I would love to see GGG vs Charlo fight, although not through principal.

This is a chess move by we be crooks to protect Canelo from a high risk/low reward opponent, keep to their rules by eliminating a mandatory and set up a 3rd fight with GG.
If Charlo beat GG, at least his name would be enhanced, benefiting Canelo & GBP.

Canelo just fought back-to-back fights against a man who
was considered by many to be the best pound-4-pound
boxer in the world, and who was favored to beat him.
Letting him take an optional defense after that is not
exactly protecting their 'cash cow'.
Had Golovkin beaten Canelo he would have had Charlo
waiting for him, so pitting the two against each other
makes more sense than an immediate rubber match
between Canelo & GGG. I know some people would prefer
if they just keep letting Golovkin fight Canelo over-&-over
until GGG finally manages to win, but that's not realistic or
likely to happen.

Not exactly. He gave up the belt to make sure he will be in shape to fight Canelo. An injury in May against Derevyachenko=no fight with Canelo in September. Why take the risk? And if you think GGG was afraid of Derevyachenko, try to reduce the blinding hatred and think again.
