Is ~1million on free primetime TV a ratings success in America? Not looking to score points or anything, genuinely curious

No joke, I have no friggin' idea.

        Good point.

Think about it, at one point Seth Mitchell was getting more hype than Deontay.

And I suppose when all is said and done the 80,000 - 90,000 people in the stadiums are all just StubHub employees given comp tickets aswell.

Forget wembleys allocation.. matchroom fight pass allocation.

Oh let's not forget when he fought at the O2 that was all StubHub aswell.. conveniently forgetting fight pass again alongside O2 rewards allocation .

          Right yawnfest you...

Like I have been saying, the fight itself is almost beside the point.

This is a DeathNote level marketing move.

              For both men.

After this, neither guy will have to hear that A-side nonsense from Hearn ever again.

No way can AJ be A-side to a guy selling well in the biggest market there is, one he hasn't sold on ticket or PPV in.

Sure he can. Whoever makes the most money is the A-side. AJ is the new Mayweather. He calls the shots.

It doesn't take a mathematician to understand that 1 million in tickets in 25 mins is ridiculous a trend. What this means is that this fight will sell out. And early. That's all that can be hoped for until the PPV numbers come in.

You're talking about how fast tickets sold out, right? You know that was stubhub. When Wembley put a stop to that not only did the tickets not sell out in 10 minutes there were also less tickets sold.

There were probably the same number of attendees at the Povetkin fight as at Joshua's previous Wembley fights, the only difference was that StubHub didn't bulk buy the lot of them to resell. I think the Povetkin fight was Joshua's largest payday to date
