This fight needs to be canceled ASAP. You don't reward bad behavior with good. I am sorry about Andrade but life is tough. He'll get his opportunity but Saunders should be scratched from this card altogether. Just as the PBC did Victor Ortiz, the DAZN should in return do the very same thing to Billy Joe Saunders. You don't award drug cheats.

It is not a controlled substance, but also not approved by the FDA for any type of use. It has not gotten enough attention from the DEA to make it illegal, probably because it is a mild stimulant compared to something like adderall/amphetamine/meth ect and doesnt really have an abuse/addiction potential.
I mean its a stimulant that could give you energy and in theory help you lose weight but the amount of different "Banned" substances in PED testing is pretty ridiculous. In NCAA college sports, they cant even have caffeine levels past a certain point or its a failure. Sudafed is also a banned substance for NCAA/Olympics, what Saunders tested positive for is very similar. At what point do we decide that every small thing is not worth testing for and stick to only testing for serious steroids and amphetamines?
aaah ok then, interesting
thanks dude

In the US, we have FDA and DEA. FDA regulates food, approved drugs and dietary supplements. DEA enforces illegal drugs on the controlled substance act.
Using ephedra as an example,
ephedra was banned by the FDA to be used in dietary supplements, there was risk it could cause heart attacks, especially for overweight people, people with heart conditions ect. They pulled ephedra weight loss supplements from the store shelves, you cant buy it anymore except maybe from some shady internet site. You can still buy ephedrine (which is the same chemical thats in ephedra) over the counter in asthma medication, though its tracked and limited because it can be converted into methamphetamine.
So ephedra is "banned" in the US, but not illegal, ie it is not a controlled substance and if you were pulled over and the police found a bottle of old ephedra pills, you wont be arrest. BUT if you are a supplement company, you cannot produce/sell ephedra pills anymore and the FDA will go after you and shut you down.
