I thought they said they are going to KO AJ inside 3, why request for a rematch clause if they are so confident?

Because Wilder was willing to do ANYTHING to get the fight this year before the new PBC TV deals kicked in. Flat fee. No rematch. Etc. He agreed to everything. When Hearn still wouldn't do the fight, Wilder said **** it and moved on with his life. He's not going to chase the fight anymore. Either Hearn comes up with a two fight deal with a respectable percentage, or the fight isn't going to happen. Wilder's stock will continue to rise after beating Fury twice.
What a nothing, nonsensical reply, by a bizarre account.

You didn't address a single point from the facts laid out.

Yes it's bigger than the Parker fight overall, what's that got to do with it, the overall pie is bigger, great. Still mostly thanks to AJ and Finkel agreed to the terms for a potential record high pay day for Wilder.

Why didn't they sign, why won't they sign, why do they say show tangible deals when they have received one's they approved, and refuse to issue a contract proposal of there own?

        Honestly what nonsense.

So given frank warren has confirmed both fighters have a rematch clause the real question is the date of any rematch? Would they have a six month break from December fight and it end up being end of May - that would seem most likely?

If that’s th case if Joshua fights April 13th, when would he fight again? September latest? Would that be enough time for Wilder from a May fight?

Leans me towards it being more likely Joshua vs Whyte and then Joshua vs Miller in NYC first. By then Usyk could well just be as credible opponent as Wilder, with the likes of Ortiz and potentially even Joyce by then as outsiders.

Can see why, if wilders team have allowed fury a rematch clause, wouldn’t expect a fight in 2019

Bizarre how fury has managed to get a rematch in the contract against wilder ...

Smart move by fish eyes but s**t business by wilders team unless they want to keep him away from fighters in the top ten for a year or so

                What a mess

I think the fight would happen but both teams prefers it happens later on. The hype surrounding it then, now and later on would make them probably 3 times what they would have earned if this fight happens this year.

If there is no injury (Fury-Wilder Dec/May 2019) and (AJ-Whyte - April 2019), then i would expect their mandatories to be pushed back if Wilder/AJ can agree a deal for 2019 ending. If they can't agree a deal then i would expect the corrupt WBC to finally allow Team Wilder to call their "Mandatory" and i would expect the WBO/IBF to call their ones as well for AJ.

Which means 2020, more money for Team Wilder but lesser chance of winning IMHO due to his age.

Team Wilder has no choice but to give Team Fury a clause, But after listening to Frank warren debating Barry Hearn i think its more of a verbal clause or a clause they could get out of.

To make Fury go for this fight Team Wilder had to grease his elbow, otherwise they would be left to fighting Breazeale next or force to pay 15m dollars from Hearn.

                      the "a-side" against b-level opponents.

Instead of creating a poll to ask fans weather they want
him to fight Wilder, Joshua should create a poll to ask fans
if they think greed should stand in the way of negotiations.
He should ask fans what is more important to them,
who he fights, or how much money he makes?

Real boxing fans want to see fighters fight,
and have little interest in how wealthy the fighters are.
I respect two hobos fighting over a tuna sandwich more
than I respect a greedy millionaire refusing to fight his
peer unless he can significantly lowball them in negotiations.
Everybody wants AJ to be fair but no one wants to tell wilder to be reasonable.
No matter people say, wilder is still the B side and should accept his position for this fight to be made.
If they are not interested anymore, they can move ahead.... HW division is too exciting to be hold r and some by a man with a single belt.
