Because it's been corroborated and reported to the media. Try typing in "Parker Joshua split" and note how many sites cite the same thing, over and over. Then type in "Hearn revised contact Wilder" and notice how nothing about what he said in that video pops up lol. I'm not trying to be skeptical, but I can't help it when something looks untrue. Parker's split is very old news, so I didn't even expect him to challenge the number, but I guess information spreads slower in some areas.

Of course none of this even gets to the other glaring issue, which is that Hearn wants this alleged new contact agreed to BEFORE FURY. So many issues you guys want people to forget about lol

Joshua and his handlers recently sent over a guaranteed offer of $50 million to persuade Joshua to take the fight in the United States.

While Joshua was initially skeptical of the high offer, Hearn confirmed that it's legitimate and the money is there.

Even with $50 million on the table, Joshua is willing to make less money in order to face Wilder in the UK.

And it doesn't have to be before the Dec 1 fight. If there is a chance that it could be, maybe Hearn should start by offering a percentage. Since he has acknowledged 1. Wilder deserves a bigger share if he beats Fury and 2. The deal is contingent on Wilder beating Fury.

Hearn wants to negotiate before those Wilder vs. Fury numbers come in! If Wilder vs. Fury makes $10 million at the gate, and 500K+ PPVs, he can't offer $15M flat-fee or 30% splits! He has to come harder than that! That's why he wants to negotiate NOW! Al and Shelly aren't that ******!

"We will never fight Joshua" is said nowhere in the article yet you used it in the title like it was a direct quote.

Also why not quote what was actually said

The gist of the article is that they won't meet unless there's a real offer. NOT that they'll never fight AJ. Are you that desperate to defend your icon you'll lie? Aren't you ashamed?

Problem is, using "real offer" makes it subjective. Meaning that Finkel can simply 'decide' not to fight by saying any offer is not a real one. There is only one side earnestly pursuing this fight, and it's the guy with the 4 belts. The guy fighting ALL the top names. The guy who actually wants to unify.
It's a good move by Wilder fighting fatty Fury though. Fury is easy work for either Wilder or AJ, and a win will strengthen Wilder's bargaining power (though it shouldn't).
I do believe the fight will get made. Only way it doesn't is if somehow Wilder decides he's the A side lol, which he might try simply as a way to duck.
Joshua is pissed off and will knock Wilder out quite easily.

It's clear in the offer Joshua's promoter, Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn, recently made to the Wilder camp: a flat fee of $12.5 million, take it or leave it, for Wilder's participation in the fight.

For Team Joshua to take Wilder as a $12.5 million expense without cutting him in for a large percentage of an event that could generate in the high eight figures is a joke. When Joshua faced Joseph Parker to unify their three belts last month, the Parker camp got one-third of the money in the event.

If Parker is worth a third, Wilder is easily worth at least that much and probably even a few more points. His side has stated it knows it's not getting 50-50 and hasn't asked for it, but to be offered a flat fee is not a real offer. It's an offer meant for the Joshua team to be able to run around and say, "Hey, we made an offer, and Team Wilder turned it down." It's called playing games, and it's nothing new in boxing.

There's really no need to line up an April fight in December, so it seems like an artificial deadline that will cause the fight not to happen.

But Joshua, boxing's biggest global star, can tell Hearn what he wants. There is no need for such a deadline, and everyone knows it. Still, Joshua at least said the right things.

They never sent a contract because Hearn rejected the offer before he ever saw one. I already sent you a link from this site regarding that. You must think BoxingScene is fake news lol.

Parker's split was reported by ESPN and BoxingScene among others, so I don't know what else you want. All I'm asking for is an official statement from anyone in Wilder's camp regarding this contract, and you can't give me anything but Hearn talking (without even a timestamp) yet I'm supposed to be the partisan lol. I'm over this.
