They said within 180 days. It would be 3 months in December, how long is it going to take for Joshua-Wilder to negotiate when they start too? WBO knows the promoters need time to promote. There's also the IBF who's final eliminator happening next month. They will likely order a mandatory too and the IBF don't **** around. Common sense would be to negotiate now and get ahead of possible problems.

They just reported Canelo vs. GGG II made $23+ million from 16K+ tickets! Can't wait to see what 80.000 tickets made in the UK!Comment

You ask for proof, and I provide it. Your turn now. Anybody from team Wilder corroborating what Hearn said, since his promoter is saying the exact opposite.
IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs), and his promoter Eddie Hearn, are standing firm with their position that a unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) takes place on UK soil.
Joshua and his handlers recently sent over a guaranteed offer of $50 million to persuade Joshua to take the fight in the United States.
While Joshua was initially skeptical of the high offer, Hearn confirmed that it's legitimate and the money is there.
Even with $50 million on the table, Joshua is willing to make less money in order to face Wilder in the UK.Last edited by doom_specialist; 09-25-2018, 05:16 PM.Comment

I'll give 100 mil for you to get banned.
The offer is real, go do it.
They had Warren helping putting it together. If the offer was serious why would they have Hearn's rival on a different TV network where Joshua would never fight involved? BS offer.Comment

Not one single alphabet organization is going to blow off an agreed to unification bout. Signed agreements will supersede any mandatory. Especially this fight. Recall the IBF made special provisions for the Joshua Klitschko fight. This isn't new. They said within 180 days. That's the point. It's not agreed to is it.
Get it agreed to NOW so the orgs don't have the chance to force a mandatory.Comment

And it doesn't have to be before the Dec 1 fight. If there is a chance that it could be, maybe Hearn should start by offering a percentage. Since he has acknowledged 1. Wilder deserves a bigger share if he beats Fury and 2. The deal is contingent on Wilder beating Fury.Comment
