Both Joshua's team and Wilder's team are jockeying for the best position. Joshua's team wants to lock in a deal now before Wilder fights Fury, in case Deontay wins and would want more money. Team Wilder wants to wait until after the Fury fight, because a win means more leverage to negotiate a huge purse for their guy. One thing that could wrong for Deontay is a loss or even a struggle against Fury. His stock would drop precipitously & he might not be offered a Joshua fight at all. He'd better win in a big way.

If the shoe was on the other foot why on earth would the Hearns negotiate a fight now when their fighter could be in a much better position at the table in December.......that some idiots can't see this (whoever they support ) is totally beyond me.
Eddie was sending his dad to meet with Finkel when his dad is saying the fight should marinade for two years = he doesn't want the fight for two years ....completely pointless.
The fight should gross massive money ,as Eddie said it's the biggest fight in world boxing = most lucrative....offer to Wilder $15m .....I wonder where ALL the other money will go?.....lol

50 million dollar offer got turned away. Deontay Wilder cuts in line and fights Fury, now Hearn and AJ are at their heals like bufoons.
Don't try to flip the script and make it seem like Wilder don't want this fight. After he takes care of Fury in early December there will be plenty of time to negotiate a percentage split for April in Wembley.

At some point you have to call out somebody for pricing themselves out of the fight. Klitschko vs Joshua generated about 50 million (US dollars) in total with Joshua and Klitschko splitting about 20 million between the two. This fight isn't that much bigger than Joshua vs Klitschko. Wladimir was a much bigger star worldwide than Wilder and he was happy accepting a 20 million purse. But according to Finkel 15 million is an insult and not a real offer. What a tool.Comment

Don't really see the relevance of Wilder winning first as any fight contract will be dependent on him not losing to Fury
I certainly think any contract should have
A) If Wilder wins (adds to his value)
B) If they don't fight (his value doesn't change and the fight probably doesn't happen as the teams are far apart on money)
C) If Fury wins AJ-Wilder doesn't happen for a while and Deontay's value may dropComment

Exactly, its smart to get it done sooner than later to avoid any bs. I hope they get a deal done now so that if Wilder beats Fury they can do a face off with Joshua ringside just like Joshua did with Klitschko after AJ beat Molina.
