Is Floyd Really The Lb 4 Lb King?--or Is It Winky?

WHY IS IT SO CLEAR CUT IN EVERYBODY'S MIND THAT FLOYD IS THE POUND FOR POUND KING....I THINK IF FANS WANT TO START SEEING THE SO CALLED POUND FOR POUND PICASSCO FIGHT SOMEONE OF ANY SIGNIFICANCE....THE PEOPLE NEED TO DETHRONE HIM AND GIVE IT TO WINKY WRIGHT......COMPARE FIGHTS WHO HAS FLOYD FOUGHT OTHER THAN CASTILLO,..THATS IT...JUDAH(BUM),,GATTI(BUM).....WHILE WINKY WRIGHT IS CHASING TONY MARGARITO, FIGHTING MOSLEY TWICE, VARGAS,DESTROYING TRINIDAD, BEATING A BIGGER AND STRONGER JERMAINE TAYLOR,,,SERIOUSLY HE WON.....FLOYD IS CHASING DOWN A GATTI//BALDOMIR WINNER.....OSCAR(OLD)....AND THE VARGAS-MOSLEY WINNER( 2 GUYS WINKY BEAT)....FLOYD MAYWEATHER WOULD RATHER FIGHT THOSE GUYS THAN PEOPLE LIKE COTTO, HATTON, MARGARITO,QUINTANA,.....FLOYDS SCHEDULED UP COMING DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS November 4th, Febuary 24th(his b-day), and May 19th..If he wants to stay the POUND 4 POUND KING HE NEEDS//SHOULD FIGHT

November 4th- Antonio" THE MEXICAN MONSTER" Margarito

Febuary 24th- Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton*** its in rickys hbo contract that for his 3rd fight he has 2 fight floyd)))

May 19th-Oscar De Lehoya ( OSCARS FAREWELL)

September 8th-Ronald" Winky" Wright ( the fight for p4p supremacy)

June 2008--vs. Miguel Angel Cotto *** just in time for the peurto rican day parade))

    Floyd has no balls!!!!!

Now winky would fight anybody anywhere any time...

Winks schedule probalbly would look like this if it was up 2 him...

    vs. Floyd
    vs. OSCAR
    VS. Taylor II
    VS. Duddy
    vs. Calagzhe

    WINKY WOULD DO IT!!!!!

WINKY IS THE POUND FOR POUND KING LETS START TO REALIZE...UNTIL FLOYD FIGHTS A GREAT FIGHTER HOW HE COULD HE BE #1...

    GIMME A BREAK!!!

FLOYD HAS ALL THE TALENT IN THE WORLD AND HES MY BOY BUT DAMN MAN ASSERT YOUR PLACE IN HISTORY AND FIGTHING BALDOMIR----MOSLEY--JUDAH II--WONT DO IT...

However!!!! IMHO MOSLEY WOULD BEAT FLOYD AT 154..SHANE TOOK A BEATING FROM VARGAS FLOYD WOULD NOT HURT HIM...SHANE VS. FLOYD...WOULD BE INTERESTING IF MOSLEYS AGE DOESNT CATCH UP TO HIM...

WINKY IS THE POUND FOR POUND KING!!!!!

Cotto, Hatton, and Hoya dont want to fight!!! Margarito is nothing, and if and when, he fights him and beats him like the so called bums Gatti and Zab, people like u will say he was unproven and bum. He p4p because no matter what, he make people look subpar and everyone wants to see him lose. since when is Zab a bum, he lost one suspect fight to Baldomier who has been on a win streak for the last 5 yrs. His other losses where to Floyd, Spinks, Zoo. I dont think that makes him a bum. And u wonder why fighters take their time and choose the right fights. Its all because of people like u, who prolly never got hit in the face, who downgrade people after a L.

There are a few undefeated champions knocking around though (Calzaghe and Hatton to name two) but I would say Mayweather is the p4p number 1 simply because he has fought many of his rivals and come out on top, add into that his overall boxing ability and good punch power tied with a good chin and I dont see anyone better at the moment in any of the divisions!

I think you guys are missing the point of pound-for-pound.

This was a title first used on Sugar Ray Robinson because his skills were such that if put on equal footing with any other fighter at the time, he would dominate them. It never meant that Robinson fought harder opposition or that he never lost a fight.

Think of it this way, if PBF were the same size/weight as any other fighter right now, would they beat him? I cannot think of one fighter who has the skills to beat Mayweather if they were evenly matched. Hence, PBF is the #1 pound-for-pound fighter right now.

BTW, why is Wright picking of a fighter who fights two divisions less than he does? He wants to fight a Welterweight because he cannot beat the top fighters in his division, that's why. ****, he's not even picking a 154-pounder to fight (such as the winner of Karmazin - Spinks or Vargas - Moseley). He knows he cannot beat a Middleweight so he tries to bully the smaller guys. Way to go, Wink

Floyd is the king right now, no doubt. Winky is good though, he needs to fight Taylor again.

I am a big believer in Mayweather and he has a superb fight record at lightweight his competition was truely A+; Genaro, Corrales, Castillo, Corley, etc. But his welterweight fights have been against subpar competition for someone for his level. And yes Zab is not an A class fighter, he has A class talent but his mental handicaps place him below that level.

Winky has fought the best competition in his weightclass barring B-Hop, 2 dominating wins against Mosley, a flawless execution of Trinidad and two very debatable fights between Vargas and Taylor, who many thought he deserved the bout.

I have Winky number one on my P4P list untill further notice on Mayweather.
