Ward always would have humiliated Golovkin. Said it then, saying it now. He would have taken it inside and roughed him up badly.
Now we know why GGG wanted no part of Ward

Guess we just have to use logic on this one. Would wilder— a guy known for knocking cans as well— perform better today against joshua than he will lets say 3-4 years from now?? Of course he would!sure...but beating up Curtis stevens and Daniel geale....and kell brook....and willie Monroe...and gabe Rosado....proves nothing
at least we know what Oscar was in his prime.....
heck...even old Miguel cotto was able to destroy danny geale....and cotto aint no MW.....stevens was beaten by D level guys
every guy look faster at 30 than they do at 34-36...but g's comp level leaves a lot to be desired...makes it nearly impossible to say how hed fare
hes fought one elite fighter...and one guy below elite level....and that's really it.....and he only has 1 close win over the less than elite danny jacobs
Jacobs fight happen when GGG is already 35. Brook when he was 34. It’s quite easy to connect the dots here.
No fighter is better at 36 than they were at 30. (Only hopkins come to mind)
Pac and floyd are not better at 36 than they were at 30, and those are ATGs. Let alone GGG.Comment

Ward looked worse against kovalev in the first fight than golovkin has in either fight against canelo. And kovalev is far more 'basic' than canelo. Ward should have a genuine loss on his recordComment

Agreed. Ward should have 1 loss on his record and so should Floyd.
And if they fought away from home they'd have moreComment
