who knows.. you could be right. we'll probably find out sooner rather than later anyway.
personally the whole wilder/aj/fury thing has burned me out of the HW division...if i was to pick'em then theyd be the exact oppositer of what id actually like.
I can see AJ and Fury getting ****** out, and this forum becoming an absolute mess of arguments and b1tches
I don't think any of them will go out of their way about the details, nothing has been revealed at all about splits.
Really? I think the HW's is just getting interesting, but that's a bias thing with Fury coming back and it being my favourite division I'll admit. I think Povetkin/AJ is a great fight, as well as following some younger guys coming through.
The non-stop arguments on here have probably turned you off... I couldn't imagine coming on here every day, I take regular breaks to get away from it.

Just because they outbid against Haymon for the wilder fight doesnt mean they can outbid to have AJ go to russia.
They bid like 7 mill against Haymon, which is peanuts in comparison to the revenue AJ brings in . If Povetkin gets 25 - 25% of purse.. he's lookin at the biggest payday he's ever had by a long way. If they bid to have the fight in Russia, they'd be having to bid AJ's guarantee + more. never gonna happen
Not going to use the Wilder bid which was less than 1/3rd of the Klitschko bid, lets use that $23million as an example instead.... I think with everything going on just now they could have came up with more than that.... especially with state backing and getting a British HW champ to Russia would be a political win as well.
I think Povetkin will be getting substantially more than 25% to secure home rights.... just my opinion.
Yeah, Hearn must have offered Povetkin more than his mandatory cut.
And given the amount of money it makes for Matchroom in the UK, I reckon Povetkin's promoter would have had to bid a lot more than $23million to win control of this fight. And it wouldn't be worth as much to him as Wlad/Povetkin was, because Wlad was a bigger star in Russia than AJ is.
When was the last time Boxingscene showed photos of a boxer in training camp without calling it a "beast mode". No, seriously, how do they distinguish the "beast mode" from "butterfly" or "insect" modes, for example. What other modes are there? And everyone is training in "beast mode" then the whole concept is meaningless and that's just a normal training mode.
Something like with our obsession with calling everyone a "hero" these days.
