He didn’t knock anyone out at welter other than Hatton. Or you could include that sucker punch against Ortiz if you want.
34 is already old if you’ve been inactive and busy promoting instead. He’s had like 1 win in 3 yrs before fighting floyd after a year lay off. Point is that was not the best Oscar, and Floyd couldn’t KO him, so how hell does everything points to a KO if it happened during his prime instead??? I don’t get it.Comment

Well, delahoya at his prime at 147 is no cake walk for any atg stylewise.
Saying mayweather beats him there or vice versa as a forgone conclusion is BS. Cause we’ll never really know.
At 34 Oscar managed to win 4 rounds. And was hangin in there in some.
He has the height, the speed, the jab, the reach, the power and the chin to make what he’s saying right now possible during his prime. And he’s entitled to think that.

You were only 34 when you fought Floyd, yet you waited until GGG was 35 to make the Canelo fight. I happen to agree that prime Oscar beats Floyd, I mean, that's obvious seeing as how past prime Oscar fought Floyd even at worse, but you can't make comments like this without exposing that the Canelo-GGG fight is also a farce. Should have happened 4 years ago. Even BHop has admitted on multiple occasions that GGG is old. In fact he admitted GGG was old like 3 years ago, so just imagine how past his prime he is now.

A fighter is entitled to think what they want. I think every fighter goes into a fight thinking he is going to win until he enters the ring and gets a reality check. Was Dela Hoya given a reality check in his prime? If so by what type of calibre fighter? This jab, speed, height , chin help him in those defeats?
Point is guys here are saying like it’s a foregone conclusion that Floyd wins, even more so by KO. When all the facts don’t really point towards it at all.
A 34 year old barely active De la hoya managed to win 4 rounds against Floyd. Isn’t it likely he’d do better if they fought in his prime instead?
i don’t hate Floyd at all but as I’ve mentioned in my other comment, it sucks that he’s getting credit as if he had actually beaten them in their primes — even when they’re not when he fought them— simply because it’s likey he’ll beat them in there primes. LolComment

Floyd did fight ODLH on his down-slide that is undebatable, the fact ODLH had lost several times and went to 160 got KOed by Bhop and should have lost to Sturm and then he jumped down to 154 all so quickly I mean its blatantly obviously he was past his best.
I've been saying this for a long time, Floyd picked his moments he never fought guys at the utter total prime peak there is only 2-3 guys you could mention, but they're not names worth really mentioning when trying to claim ATG status.
