Sweet Pea, Quartey and Tito were all rematches that Oscar should’ve at least considered before Floyd. I wonder what Oscar’s official remarks are as to why he never rematched those men?

That's totally over looking the fact that Oscar really lost to a 5'6 33 year old Whitaker at age 24 so how was he going to beat Mayweather and if he thought he could why didn't he fight Floyd when Floyd started calling for a fight in his mid 20s when u were 28 or 29 Oscar Winer
I don't buy the whole notion that Oscar was over the hill by that much anyway he had just turned 34 before fighting Floyd its not like he was Turning 35 the next month or sum and he looked pretty decent against Forbes right around that time period when Forbes had some decent skillsLast edited by Realizniguhnit; 09-01-2018, 09:05 AM.

Bendeyho please
Then you should have fought him in your prime Oscar, when he was calling you out! Let’s also deny the fact that he beat a 160 lb ATG in his first contest at the full 154 lb limit! Let’s also act like Pernell Whitaker didn’t beat you! And as great as one of my favorites is Mayweather is better than Sweet Pea in all the categories that made SW a badass. Not saying Floyd would have KO Oscar I’m just saying at a younger lower weight, Oscar would be facing the best Floyd in a weight he’s more comfortable with! Point is no matter the weight Floyd is the superior Boxer and the smart Money goes on Floyd to win that contest.
Get over it Bendeyho FLOYD BEAT YOU!

De La Hoya, when in his prime, and the version of Mosley that beat Oscar in their first fight, were clearly better than Mayweather and would have beaten him, maybe not by tko but points for sure. They were more explosive and had outstanding hand speed and good power.

This is the same guy that lost to Mosley and Trinidad in his prime, (2) fighters that were never on Floyd’s level. And the same guy that got demolished by Manny when he was 35 years old and could only muster up another win against Steve f@cking Forbes. At the same age of 35 and
beyond, Floyd was beating the likes of Alvarez, Guerrero, Cotto, Maidana, Manny, & Berto.
And Oscar acts like he was super old and Floyd was super young. There are plenty of “great” fighters that win at 34 years or beyond. Floyd was 30 years old when he fought Oscar who was 34 years old. And up until the Floyd fight, Oscar had beaten these notable fighters, Hernandez, Chavez Sr, Camacho, Gatti, Quartey, Sturm, & Vargas, Whitaker. And he loss to Mosley, Trinidad, and Hopkins.
Floyd had only beaten these notable fighters, Hernandez, Corrales, Castillo, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir.
Oscar should have won based on his overall ring experience but he got out classed by Floyd. Stop it Oscar, you are suffering bad from Amnesia.Last edited by markther; 09-01-2018, 10:07 AM.

I happen to agree that prime Oscar beats Floyd, I mean, that's obvious seeing as how past prime Oscar fought Floyd even at worse, but you can't make comments like this without exposing that the Canelo-GGG fight is also a farce. Should have happened 4 years ago. Even BHop has admitted on multiple occasions that GGG is old. In fact he admitted GGG was old like 3 years ago, so just imagine how past his prime he is now.
