Well, delahoya at his prime at 147 is no cake walk for any atg stylewise.
Saying mayweather beats him there or vice versa as a forgone conclusion is BS. Cause we’ll never really know.
At 34 Oscar managed to win 4 rounds. And was hangin in there in some.
He has the height, the speed, the jab, the reach, the power and the chin to make what he’s saying right now possible during his prime. And he’s entitled to think that.

A fighter is entitled to think what they want. I think every fighter goes into a fight thinking he is going to win until he enters the ring and gets a reality check. Was Dela Hoya given a reality check in his prime? If so by what type of calibre fighter? This jab, speed, height , chin help him in those defeats?

Prime DLH annihilates Manny - too big, too hungry.

Prime DLH and prime Floyd is 45/55 in Floyd's favor IMHO.

Floyd fought a MUCH fresher version of DLH at 154 using a smaller ring and DLH selected gloves.

Manny fought a DLH who weighed LESS than Manny on fight night, was recovering from a broken orbital bone..courtesy of Steve "2 lb" Forbes (who was 35-14 w/ 11 KOs) and was getting ****** in sparring against Valero before sending Valero home.

Prime DLH flat out hammers Manny and likely beats Floyd...at least very, very close (and the actual fight was very close to begin with)

Check his record and see whom he didnt knock out. Oscar wasn't even over the hill. See how he destroyed Mayorga just before facing Mayweather. Floyd took everything Oscar had and by the time he finished with him yes he had nothing more to give.

I have only one regret about DLH's career it's that he came down in weight and he was dehydrated or somehow screwed up the weight vs Pacquiao. (He shoulda fought Winky instead but nobody really wanted to see it.)

You were rolling somewhat until you called Oscar coming ALL the way back down to 147 after not fighting at that weight in how many years!!! Couldn't rehydrate and shyt I think Manny was heavier fight night. Oscar was made to spring Mannys name and make him look good. Excuses maybe, only because he signed to fight but with all that, I'll accept those excuses lol.
