Floyd most effective punch came after a jab. A straight right over the top of your jab which almost always found the opponents chin in dominate fashion. He couldnt beat floyd in boxing on his best night... Brawling idk look at the last 5 or 10 seconds of there fight ill give that too oscar. Oscar feels his dad mayweather sr is the best trainer oscar looked his best when mayweather sr was in his corner... He asked him to train him to beat his son. But Sr said NO.... So he knew floyd was better a long time before they fought oscar used politics to stay away from floyd and also had to use him in the end too promote his golden boy promotions....Floyd put them on the map he beat all his fighters and arums too. De la hoya past the torch too floyd he had no choice it was alot of money to be made

Who has Oscar ever knocked in his prime that was close to Floyd's level? Oscar has hardly any good knockouts on his resume. Best names he K.O'd was an over the hill JCC Superstar, Gatti, Vargas, and Ruelas. None on Floyd's level.

He won decisions against coked up Camacho, coked up Whitaker, Quartey, and should have won vs Trinidad.

So no, Oscar absolutely would not have knocked out Floyd in his prime. Maybe he could have beat him, but I don't think so. Would have been a much better fight though.

Floyd alternatively, would not have KO'd Oscar either, but it is possible he could have lost.

Do you have any idea how many times Freddie Roach say Manny wasn't ready for Floyd between 2009 and 2012? At least half a dozen times.
In that time Manny fought a weight drained Cotto and Margarito and a past his time Mosley who had literally just lost to Floyd.

Can you imagine Floyd fighting Mosley right after Mosley was beaten by Manny? Or Floyd fighting Brandon Rios, Algieri, Jeff Horn, Mathysse, Clottey, or draining Cotto and Margarito to some catch weight?
Give me links where Roach said he wasn’t ready lol or GTFO!!!

Meanwhile I can give you links where Floyd said:
“Manny is so desperate for the fight”

“I will not be forced to take fights that fans want, just like Ali was forced to face Norton. Mayweather has to be comfortable. That is self preservation”

Floyd Sr after the fight: “Manny will be known as the fighter who chased Floyd his entire career and then lost”

When did I ever said Prime Oscar would knock out Floyd? Link please??
I just said he has the right to believe he would have done better in his prime since at 34 he was able to win 4 rounds against Floyd. Don’t you think it points that way??
Or he would have ****** more in his prime compared to the inactive version of him coming off a year layoff and just had 1 over 3 yrs? Hmmm

Clearly NOT cuz they BOTH ducked Floyd when Floyd was at his prime calling them out. You can also kill that "They were more explosive and had outstanding hand speed and good power" cuz Floyd already proved he can beat all that.
