Golovkin makes valid points. But at the end of the day, I don’t think it’ll end well for him on September 15

Never said choosing to only fight at the middleweight limit was unacceptable. Like I said...obtuse arguments.Comment

this has been a good build up. and enjoying the threads every time GGG or Canelo are mentioned, esp the Canelo fans basically saying GGG needs Canelo more than anything. Lets face it, after the drug debacle Canelo's stocks fell as GGG was able to negotiate a better deal. Sure Canelo is still the A side, however is isnt as dominant as what the public are making him out to be, he isnt close to mayweather or even pac. They both are doing a good job selling this fight though with insults thrown in both directions.Comment

You have to do better, you just sound dumb. And there is no such thing as 155 you dumb ****. And When is the last time Ward fought at 168, GGG was barely on the scene."Anybody from 154-168!!!"
*Except Andre Ward at 168 and Canelo at 155.* *But calls out Mayweather at 154*
"Bernard Hopkins' resume is not impressive"
*David Lemieux is one of his best wins*
"I love Mexicans!!!"
*Trump attends his fights.* "I don't get political. I respect Trump."
Not a single Canelo win doesn't get crushed by Prime GGG, hense why they would even sanction most.Comment

The catchweight was a throwaway offer to save face. Since there is no precedent historically it indicates that it probably wouldn’t have happened, champions don’t move down in weight for a challenger. You speak of obtuse arguments, your point about the catchweight was superfluous, and stating that most people don’t know about boxing while not being able to read between the lines is ironic.
It was with every intention that they planned to wait out GGG to show signs or slipping. Even cotto and BJS were honest enough to say they wanted no parts of Golovkin at that point in time.Comment

Or you all put too much pressure on Canelo and as a result he refused to eat the meat here in Mexico. The meat in America is not as potent. We will go back to using our A1 meat from the best butchers in Mexico Jose Hernandez ivI’m just really curious what excuses Canelo fans may give IF he loses on September 15th. And IF GGG wins, I hope it’s not a close decision. Can you imagine all of the conspiracy theories that will spew out on this forum.
Now, I actually think Canelo will win but I hope it’s an convincing win with no controversy. I hope he doesn’t win a narrow decision because GGG fans will cry that it was rigged for Canelo or that he was older and past his prime. But if Canelo wins convincingly; I will be man enough to admit right here that he is a great fighter and the new P4P best and unquestionable star of boxing.
Hard core Canelo fans won’t give GGG any credit IF he wins though. That don’t seem objective at all. They will say GGG was a natural middleweight that was supposed to beat Canelo or something else really ******.Comment

Funny, especially because I’ve been calling him Clenelo in most of my posts on this forumComment
