    Gennady Golovkin's vicious assault on Canelo Alvarez's character continued Sunday. The undefeated middleweight champion called his upcoming opponent "a liar" during an event in Los Angeles designed to promote their HBO Pay-Per-View rematch September 15 in Las Vegas. Golovkin also reiterated that he feels the Mexican superstar has shown no respect whatsoever for boxing by the way he has handled failing two performance-enhancing drug tests in February.

      The bad blood is real. I don't think either fighter has ever been so upset, especially GGG. But also Alvarez is unusually brash in his interviews.

      Hope this translates into a great fight between two modern greats.

                                      who gives a **** about numbers and ratings..these are things that only line a fighters pockets they have nothing to offer a fan..GGG is a man of honour unlike that red rat
