That and Team G is trying to get into Canelos head, make him angry so he comes after him, Canelo just got to keep his cool stay focused and fight his fight to win the fight first and if he can stop him go for it , GGG just wants him to stand in front of him in a shoot out, they just playing the game and its good stuff I like seeing a fight get down too some good ol sht talking.

The difference between canelo demanding his catchweight at 155 and cotto fighting Martinez at 159 is that cotto started out at 140 at 21 whereas canelo at 21 snagged his 154 wbc belt against Hatton... Cotto who was naturally much smaller went up in weight. Canelo wanted the 155 catchweight with the pretense that he was still too small to fight at 160, when he frequently rehydrated to middleweight at the very least. Cotto was 155 when he fought Martinez meaning he couldn’t even make 159 if he wanted to. Since Canelo held the lineal belt, it’s reasonable he would defend at 160 since he could easily make weight. Especially considering he fought Chávez at 164.5 before fighting at 160....

Apologize for my mistake, you’re right about canelo vs Mayweather. Guess Mayweather is just the exception, Golovkin was willing to move down to 154 for the bout, too lucrative to turn down.

Just because you're an alt, I will not excuse your lack of understanding of how weight works for a fighter. Just because Alvarez could make 160, doesn't mean that his body was ready to perform at peak level at 160. Thus a catchweight between the two would have been ideal. All this belt talk is nonsense and just you and your GGG nuthuggers way of putting GGG in the best position to succeed. Funny how its ok for GGG to move down to 154 to fight a former lightweight who weighs-in two lbs below 154 for his JMW fights, but its not ok for him to move down 2-3 llbs to fight Alvarez who at the time had never fought at the full 160 limit.

So is Canelo's for the most part. Go look at his resume and study it thoroughly and that's with a top three promoter managing his career practically the length of it. What's the excuse for 90% of his opponents being no hopers? Oh i'm sure people tend to ignore that the same way they do with Garcia. So he fought Floyd, Lara, Trout, and Cotto. 52 fights and he has four names worth a damn on his resume...WOW well done. Go for it defend that brooooo
