GGG had almost twice as many fan at the media workout, everyone sitting around me were GGG fans. I can see people want GGG to KO Canelo this time. GGG took off his shirt and signed lots of autographs for the fans, Canelo kept his shirt on and no fan autographs, Canelo looks different for this fight

Cotto who was naturally much smaller went up in weight. Canelo wanted the 155 catchweight with the pretense that he was still too small to fight at 160, when he frequently rehydrated to middleweight at the very least. Cotto was 155 when he fought Martinez meaning he couldn’t even make 159 if he wanted to. Since Canelo held the lineal belt, it’s reasonable he would defend at 160 since he could easily make weight. Especially considering he fought Chávez at 164.5 before fighting at 160....
Apologize for my mistake, you’re right about canelo vs Mayweather. Guess Mayweather is just the exception, Golovkin was willing to move down to 154 for the bout, too lucrative to turn down.
