Of course, anything is possible in the world of boxing. At any moment, anything can happen and change the course of legacy inside the squared circle. Deravyanchenko who has 12 professional fights and his last fight was against a guy with 22-22...is a good fighter, but GGG wins this fight if it happens.Comment

He wasn't recruiting them, but he didn't refuse to fight them either! It was a "business decision," just like not fighting Ward while awaiting the winner of Canelo vs. Cotto! Why? Because Canelo and Cotto (neither which were true MWs) were money fights! Ward, who was P4P#2 behind Mayweather, would've been a legacy fight! GGG chose the money! I'm not mad at him, but don't be a hypocrite!Comment

NEW YORK Daniel Jacobs could've criticized Gennady Golovkin and commended himself all at the same time. Jacobs just doesn't think Golovkin is afraid of fighting Sergiy Derevyanchenko. The former WBA world middleweight champion believes it simply made financial sense for Golovkin to put off making a mandatory defense of his IBF middleweight title against Derevyanchenko because he'll make much more money for his rematch with Canelo Alvarez.

what bullshht
Golovkin could have simply fought Derevyanchenko
FACT: we all had to listen to the " mando doe " excuse whenever the opponents were soft..... the only difference is, Derevyanchenko was not soft
FACT: Loeffler said that Golovkin would not fight Derevyanchenko because he wanted more money for such a risky fight..... THAT is what they said lol
FACT: Golovkin has avoided plenty of risky opponents, Derevyanchenko can simply be added to that list
Derevyanchenko did not fit in with Golovkin's plan to tiptoe-through-the-tulips on his way to Hopkins record before cashing out with CaneloComment
