The IBF has started su****iously stripping unified champions of their belt. The Crawford strip was just criminal and an affront to the man who had just picked up 5 belts, and little more than a week later the IBF took its belt off the JWW undisputed champ after beating Julius Indongo.

They were the first to strip Fury too. Actually, it was only about two weeks after he won the title. They said it's because he wouldn't be facing his mandatory because of a Klitschko rematch. Actually, although Klitschko had a clause that would be triggered, it hadn't been triggered by the time the IBF stripped Fury. so there was no reason to strip him at that time.
