During this period, nobody was interested in facing GGG, then CEjr stepped up and agreed to fight but then he lost his pen as I recall. Brook was offered the fight to replace Eubanks. GGG was not recruiting 147ers and jmw's.Comment

100% agree with everything Jacob said and his reasoning behind it. Only a dumb ass that really doesn’t know sh@t about boxing and the inner workings of it, will still have a ****** “opinion,” spin a asinine theory, jump off topic into something else as usual. It’s pretty obvious why GGG took the rematch w/Canelo-money!
What really kills me with boxing fans, is they all pretend to be warriors-GTFOH, your really funny!
If any of YOU had a rematch postponed against Canelo and you had to fight someone else until the dust settled, YOU will fight a bum that they call a “mandatory challenger,” until you can have Canelo back in the ring. It doesn’t mean your scared. It means you will not risk anything to get that big check from Canelo. It’s smart, it’s business period. And everyone knows GGG would have beat the guy Jacobs is fighting anyway. He only has around 12 fights, please come on people. GGG wasn’t scared of him-STOP IT ALREADY, you know better-LOL!!!Last edited by markther; 08-25-2018, 12:42 PM.Comment
