During this period, nobody was interested in facing GGG, then CEjr stepped up and agreed to fight but then he lost his pen as I recall. Brook was offered the fight to replace Eubanks. GGG was not recruiting 147ers and jmw's.

If any of YOU had a rematch postponed against Canelo and you had to fight someone else until the dust settled, YOU will fight a bum that they call a “mandatory challenger,” until you can have Canelo back in the ring. It doesn’t mean your scared. It means you will not risk anything to get that big check from Canelo. It’s smart, it’s business period. GGG didn't face Derevyanchenko because he wouldn't recover after Derevyanchenko fight, wouldn't be ready for september 15. It is all Canelo's fault.
