ESPN just updated, still no Fury in the top 10.

Doesn’t change the fact if Ward came back and only fought Smith Barrera before Kovalev would Robbie Parrott have the same outrage and tears

      I’m guessing no
If Ward came back and beat Barrera would he be ranked top 10 at LHW? Yes ******.

Nobody is rating Fury. A win means very little.

If Fury wins , he was the man to beat the man when it mattered and when he came back he’d be the guy to beat at no worse then the #2 HW who is undefeated and in his prime , both times going to his opponents back yards to do it. I don’t care if he went obese started smoking crack in between those 2 wins alone get him the #1 spot

If Wilder wins he will be the first guy to beat the guy that beat the guy ( even if you don’t want to recognize Furys lineal title ) he has to be considered because of past achievements along with AJ and Wilder as the 3 kings of the division, he will have beaten Ortiz the divisions boogeyman in the same calendar year , he merits the top spot

Whoever the winner is has achieved more then AJ who’s best win is Klit who was inactive for 1 1/2 years and who had previously been embarrassed by Fury. Followed by Ws over Paper Champions ( Martin ) , Fighters that while good have proven they don’t belong among the top 2-3 of the division ( Parker, Whyte , Povetkin)

For me there isn’t any debate but that’s just my opinion. I’m interested on your reasoning and how you could have AJ ranked Above the winner of Fury /Wilder ?
The winner of #2 v someone outside the top 10 is the new #1? you bellend.

All those saying why would be top 10 he beat nobody since his comeback are right. He's done nothing to prove he's still a top HW. So how would it be a good win?

But keep in mind Pulev isn't ranked due to inactivity. If/when he beats Hughie he'll vault back into the list.

Fury right now deserves no ranking whatsoever, he beat 2 dudes outside of the top 100 after being out of the ring for 3 years and weighing close to 400lb. It baffles me that some people want to see him vs Wilder right now, when he is still in an extremely pathetic shape.

You do realize Joe Louis took 4 years off (with one ‘title defense’ along the way against a 3-3 guy because the commission made a scheduled exhibition into a real fight) and Jack Dempsey took 3 years off before losing to Gene Tunney.

                    Both lineal champs.

If retired fighters are still considered lineal. Wlad and Fury were never the man. Lennox Lewis still is.
