It’s funny watching Robbie Parrott and the other minions scrambling trying to discredit the fight

When you’ve proven that your a elite fighter you get to skip the line

If Mayweather came back next year and decided to fight Crawford would there be this fake outrage

Did Ward have to fight top end contenders before a Kovalev fight to prove his worth

You guys need to sit back STFU and enjoy the fight that will determine who the #1 HW is

There is no reason he should be ranked very high. He has only his two cherry pick wins in the last almost 3 years since he beat Wlad.

Ward fought Barrera who was undefeated and a top contender before he fought Kovalev.

Yea, it's a silly thread because ranking is based on statistical factors such as activity. Of course he's not going to be ranked after 3 years of *** all. That doesn't change the fact that people really want to see this and that they believe Fury is a threat.

I personally believe Fury is being highly overrated based on what he did before he damaged himself. I don't think he's a better W than AJ. But, I don't think him being unranked is a relevant argument really.

some people seem to think you can go three years without fighting anybody with a pulse and still be the lineal champion. really. people think he's the lineal HW champion of the world and holds the same title as joe louis.

Ward wasn’t given any credit at the time for Barrera , he was viewed as a slightly better tune up then Smith & Brand

Even Ward said he’ll get more credit for the Barrera win as time goes on because he was unheard of at the time and guess what he was right

Doesn’t change the fact if Ward came back and only fought Smith Barrera before Kovalev would Robbie Parrott have the same outrage and tears

                I’m guessing no

Robbie Parrotts like a beaten wife

No matter what and how foolish it’ll make him look he has to come here and defend Hearn/AJs honour while at the same time
                  Discrediting anything related to Wilder.

He’s not Going to let Hearns blatant lies get in the way of that

I think it's a great fight that either man could win. There is no outrage about the fight from me. Fury has every right to fight Wilder based on his past performances. Boxrec ranks Fury 5th in the world so that's a high ranking. However if AJ beats Povetkin I don't agree that the winner or Wilder vs Fury should be ranked number 1 over AJ.

I agree with you , I can see either man winning

But I have to disagree with you on the last part regardless if AJ beats Povetkin or not , whoever is victorious between Wilder / Fury is the new #1

If Fury wins , he was the man to beat the man when it mattered and when he came back he’d be the guy to beat at no worse then the #2 HW who is undefeated and in his prime , both times going to his opponents back yards to do it. I don’t care if he went obese started smoking crack in between those 2 wins alone get him the #1 spot

If Wilder wins he will be the first guy to beat the guy that beat the guy ( even if you don’t want to recognize Furys lineal title ) he has to be considered because of past achievements along with AJ and Wilder as the 3 kings of the division, he will have beaten Ortiz the divisions boogeyman in the same calendar year , he merits the top spot

Whoever the winner is has achieved more then AJ who’s best win is Klit who was inactive for 1 1/2 years and who had previously been embarrassed by Fury. Followed by Ws over Paper Champions ( Martin ) , Fighters that while good have proven they don’t belong among the top 2-3 of the division ( Parker, Whyte , Povetkin)

For me there isn’t any debate but that’s just my opinion. I’m interested on your reasoning and how you could have AJ ranked Above the winner of Fury /Wilder ?
