Floyd has a list of names. Some we know.
BUT as stated, not because when Floyd fought them they were at their prime or best weight …..
As a Floyd fan, what are you looking for?
Some names that come to mind are:
Wladimir Klitschko,
Manny Pacquiao,
a "run" as you calling it, also
Gennady Golovkin,
Hopkins had a good "run"
but there are others from the past
Roy Jones,
SRL,
SRR,
Larry Holmes …………...

Consecutive opponents is the title. Yet you are screaming over losses
It wouldn’t have been obvious had you not.
It’s okay we all have those slippage from time to time

There you go. If we gonna neglect being prime or not.
If we gonna neglect the issues, truths and narratives behind.
Then Pac has every bit of claim to beat Floyd’s resume from 2007-2015
Not to mention he did it in 4 weight classes
..... the 3 losses ?
..... the mid-level lw's and jww's ?
..... the schooling from Morales ?
..... I will go easy on you and not mention Horn

Good run with some good to great wins on it,I don't know good question..I'll go with one of them, but there are some fights that really burned my ass on this list..Mainly Ortiz and the Ghost..Could have done wihout either of those fights..

How is it a better run when he's lost and fought guys who were NOT champions at the time???
Floyd fought 12 consecutive champions and/or ranked P4P opponents and also WON. So tell me who has a better run???

you can actually tell that by how the fight played out
like I said, this is not a high-school exam, you are allowed to use the benefit of hindsight

As I said, you included that Marquez was #2 P4P at the time but that is BS because you excluded the obvious.
- Marquez was 2 fights removed from 130 and had not fought at 140 nor 147.
- Floyd came in 2lbs over the contracted weight.
Having a belt with just 1 fight at that weight doesn't constitute "best ever".
What did Ortiz do before?
Quit in a fight then was knocked down TWICE and almost lost to Berto in his only fight at 147!!!
What did Guerrero do before?
Beat up on Berto!
OSCAR vs Manny: This was a good win for Manny because it was Oscar that held all of the cards. Oscar's preparation (plan) was not good but Manny had moved up from 130 to 147 and beat a guy who had to come down 3lbs since his last fight.
Good win because people thought Manny was going to get creamed by Oscar.
Go check out the Roger Mayweather interview!!!! He gave Manny no chance!!!

Floyd fought nothing but other champions and/or ranked #p4p for 12 consecutive opponents and WON.
Name a better run than that, it certianly isnt pacquiao because he lost, got KO'd, didn't consistently fight current champions, fought guys like rios/algeri, etc.
So come on NAME A BETTER RUN.Last edited by mcdonalds; 08-11-2018, 02:45 PM.
