PBC To FOX?

So this this PBC/FOX deal will begin in 2019 and the bulk of the cards will take place in Barclay Center. And unlike in the past, it does include a license fee, I'm told #boxing

So 6-8 dates for the top guys essentially. That's awesome. No more Berto vs Alexander, instead time to put fights like LSC vs GRJ on FOX.

Hopefully they get a couple better shows for FS1 as well. I like the prospect fights and those are needed too but that network needs some quality programming and a couple bigger fights a year on there would be nice. Along with the Showtime stuff.

Also I do think ESPN working with other networks like Fox or Showtime seems like something much more likely than HBO would ever do.

Like I said this will be a problem down the line. Even now some people are saying Espinoza is drawing the line in the sand

Likely nothing. Al isn't just going to leave SHO unless he gets a MASSIVE UFC on ESPN type of deal. And that is highly unlikely. So PBC will have two outlets with FOX and SHO. Good for Al's stable as more dates would open up with sizable license fees where top guys can fight on FOX, instead of past their prime fighters like Berto/Alexander/Ortiz/etc.

Actually I think PBC will elect to put fights on showtime more during Football season and times when it doesn't make since for it to be on fox. After all SHOWTIME and HBO already have a built in boxing audience.
FOX sharing fighters would benefit their ratings/subscribers more.
