And Garcia has been calling out Spence for two to three months now. For him to get paid what he wants, and Spence get paid what he wants, it had to be on PPV. Granted, these are the types of fights Hearn said he could put on DAZN. But no star fighter is going to a brand new streaming service that is yet to be proven in the states. Even Crawford was hesitant to fight on ESPN+ so they paid him like three million for the Horn fight.
DAZN has pushed the purses up further, theyre gunna have to do it to keep the guys. Just watch, sneak in 2 at the end of the year, and before you know it it becomes the norm. Charlo/Hurd, stick it on PPV. Theyre gunna want more now to take on a challenge, because Hearn will pay it.

No, they’re not. One, Charlo-Hurd is not going on PPV. Two, they got the FOX deal so most of their big fights will be on terrestrial (free) TV. The only PPV bout is Wilder-Fury.

I don't think DAZN has forced their hand because only a small few guys are with DAZN. Hearn tried to get them over but no one "major" has moved.

Doubt it. With SHO having a $50 million budget or around there and FOX likely to have even more or at the very least similar type of budget, Haymon will have enough resources between those two networks to match what Hearn has to offer with DAZN.

Plus they'll be on TV (network with Fox) instead of a stream.

lol and people thought PBC/Haymon was just gonna evaporate. The man has been working with some of the most influential and powerful people in the sport for years.

This is very good for the sport, hopefully we see the big names more active now

That's the big advantage for Top Rank and PBC. They will have a combined possible 20 dates on ESPN or FOX. Fighters will want us much eye balls to them as possible.

Btw, it isn't all that difficult putting fights on apps to your television. I hate when people say I have to watch it on my phone??? I mean of course you don't, just buy a chromecast or roku and problem solved lol.

Don’t worry, they’re all gone. So is Porter. So is Thurman. And PBC is dead. It’s all a nightmare, “killa kali.”
