Correct and that would be a huge let down for British fans in general and Anthony Joshua fans in particular. Do you think the IBF would let AJ keep that title until April of next year though without defending it? Nine months from now is a long time.

I think there are bigger expectations for him than the present. He is supposed to be the next Wladimir so anything less than that is a disappointment no? No doubt he appears to be sitting pretty but Forget Wilder, could a guy like Whyte (II), Povetkin, Miller upset Joshua? I don't know. I remember a time when people gave up on Wladimir, but I never did. Anybody older than about 30 might remember that.

Forget Wladimir, he's supposed to be the next Floyd; the supernova star who dwarfs everyone else.

Ali to Ray Leonard to Mike Tyson to Oscar De La Hoya to Floyd, and then to Joshua. He's supposed to be the first billion dollar fighter.

You know Joshua fans don't like to hear that kind of news about their hero. They would much rather say "sign the contract" when it comes to Deontay Wilder. However, little that they know is that he has another mandatory title defense of the IBF coming up soon before April of 2019. So to me, it seems that AJ needs Wilder a lot more than Wilder needs Joshua if wants to keep all his belts intact.

What's really funny about these AJ fans is, AJ just said they mean squat to him. He doesn't care what they think, they don't run his career. They can get into shape and fight Wilder. That would turn me off right there.

I've watched him be floored and struggle with guys that aren't very good. I expect him to take an L against Saunders with relative ease. Saunders has been there before against decent to good fighters.
