I agree that’s how the term seems to be implied today. Improving ur force by better technique. But still I don’t think any two commentators would come up with the same answer. I feel like it started as a term used improperly but then just transformed into “more power”. I mean who has more “leverage” on their punches, Tyson or Wilder? Both weigh about the same. Built completely different.Comment

Very good post
All facts! Wilder power is just proportional to the bums he fought. Povetkin and AJ have more power and skill than Wilder. Wilder fights more bums than any fighter in history. To me, it is very hard to quantify Wilder's power compared to other ATG. When talking about ATG punchers at the HW division, you have guys like Foreman, Shavers, Cooney, Lewis, Marciano, Wlad, Peters, Haye, Tyson, Frazier, Vlad, Tua, and many more. There is no doubt that Wilder has a devastating right hand but there have been fighters who have been able to take everything that Wilder has thrown at him.
Take Johann Duhaupas for example. It took Wilder 11 rounds to stop him but earlier in the fight Wilder landed a few eight hands that didn't seem to phase Duhaupas at all. Yet against Povetkin, he was knocked out in round 6.
Same with Molina, it took Wilder 9 rounds to stop him but AJ only three.
Stiverne, in the first fight, took everything that Wilder could throw at him, and Areolla did the same before his corner decided to throw in the towel. Personally, I am not sure if Wilder hits any harder than Prime Haye or Prime Tua. Let's just see how he does against guys like Joshua and Fury.Comment

You are nerd unlike you I’m 6ft 3 220 lbs, shredded like Arnie in his prime and if I said I will put paws on an opponent you better believe it. If we are being technical I said hurt not beat them. We are after all talking about Wilders record.
You sitting there with superman thongs on telling a Alpha male I will get hurt by journey men twitching. You crazy. My bloodline is too strong. Put some respek on my name I don’t just post but I can fight too. I should strangle you for your disrespect you fraggle.
Look at my last fight and make your own judgement

Your bloodline is third world and the weakest of all races today. You can run yes, because it's in your nature to run, but you lack strength and courage. Losing cultures like yours never won a war of any significance hence your third world status.
Your Beta Male bit is quite funny. Just another coward from the hood.Comment

Wilder is a huge hitter, legit one punch power with either hand, but I’m still taking foreman as the hardest puncherComment

You know I have actually experienced this before, getting hit on the chin and feeling it in a different part of the head. I think a lot of people watching these fights have never been hit in the face before by anything. So I don't knock Stiverne for something that may have happened to him.A case can be made. Obviously big George, Tyson and the like had more skills, especially Forman, who I believe would defeat Tyson prime vs. prime. I'd say this, I don't recall a single KO from either of them, sending an opponent into convulsions. I believe Wilder has done that more than once. Wilder hit Stivern so hard, Stivern thought wilder hit him behind the head. Wilder knocked out a boxer with the palm of his hand, he hit Szpilka so hard he flew in the air. Obviously we really will never know, but it does make for a fun debate. Not really on topic, but since Tysons name popped up, man I wanted to see Tyson vs. Tua so bad. In my opinion, one of the greatest fights never made.Comment

He's no Ivan Drago.Veteran trainer Naazim Richardson is going to receive from criticism, after stating that he believes WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder might be the hardest punching heavyweight in history. Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) has knocked out every opponent that he ever faced in the ring.
