He may be in purely scientific terms (with the right hand).
But, in reality whatever power he has is clearly wiped out by the fact he has zero boxing skill or ringcraft.

Despite having his demand for fifty million dollars to fight Wilder being met, AJ refused to fight Wilder, so don't make the claim that Wilder is finding an excuse not to fight AJ. AJ is doing every possible thing he can to keep from entering the ring with Wilder. Fifty million dollars guaranteed, and AJ won't sign. Only an imbecile or partisan would blame Wilder. I am not sayingby something that is new. Eddie Hearn knew it all along that's why he deliberately avoided Wilder by pushing back the fight as far as possible. Then why is he fighting Povetkin instead of Wilder? Wilder had his pen all ready and prepared to sign the fight.

Then all of a sudden, Finkel asked for a revised contract which included both the date and the venue of the fight; Eddie Hearn agreed. Then all of a sudden, he went into panic mode because they were not expecting Wilder to accept those terms and or even sign the fight itself.

Then the excuses started to come. First, Eddie's fax machine mysteriously broke down because he never sent the revised copy of the contract like he promised.

Joshua needed a 12 week training camp, they couldn't stage the fight at Wembley in September because of GGG/Canelo and lastly the WBA, had ordered him 24 hours to finalize a Povetkin/Joshua deal; Which was a lie.

Eddie had three weeks to send the revised copy of that $15mil Flat-fee contract to Wilder to sign with both date and venue but refused because Joshua is ducking and avoiding Wilder. Deontay would have knocked him the fuck out.

AJ didn't want to fight him. It was never Matchroom Boxing's intention to fight Wilder this year or at all because they are protecting Joshua. They don't feel he is ready for a Deontay Wilder fight at this time but were just too afraid to admit it.

He can't now because Joshua is fighting Povetkin. Besides Wilder would be a damned fool to just rubber stamp a blank document without exercising his Due diligence. When he was all prepared to sign the contract, Eddie pulled it right out from under him.

Let's just say he did sign that contract with both the date and venue blank and then later Matchroom Boxing filled in those blanks for a fight scheduled for April of 2019. That is what you call the classic Bait-and-Switch my friend.

Dude, get over it! Matchroom Boxing has to come up with a better deal or there will be no fight in April. The original terms and conditions of the old contract is both null and void.
