I believe he's asking your education level. HS, College, or Graduate.

      Roy Jones

Has a record of 22-3 (14 KOs) in world title fights.
Has a record of 19-9 (8 KOs) against former, current and future world titlists.

I just dont get why people rank Roy automatically over Hopkins
Larry makes sense here, many people nuthug on RJJ because he was very skilled and flashy, watching BHop on the other hand was worse than torture pworn.

      But...

Bhop always found a way to win and had an elite level career until he was late forties, which is insane if you stop and think about it.

        Right.

I still don't see the relevance in regards to working a search engine.

I'm not going to list off my academic achievements on an internet boxing forum for no good reason.

I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to understand how to do a google search on the internet and whilst I admit I'm not the most savvy person in the world when it comes to technology, somehow I think I'll be ok if I need to make a google search.

Did he always find a way to win?

Because I'm pretty sure he lost numerous fights well before his late 40's.

What i meant was that he continued winning at the highest level into his forties, he was still totally competitive at World Championship level. You cannot make that case for RJJ.

              Two different styles completely, but
I can't see Jones losing to Jermaine Taylor 2x, Calzaghe, or Dawson in his prime.

Yup. Don't get me wrong, Hopkins a legend and a HOFamer. Roy Jones Jr might be the best fighter that ever lived.

He's literally the reason I became a fan. Not that it has any impact on his resume, but his resume is definitely way better than Hopkins who only (imo) has a few select good wins.

I made a post about this in 2010 or 2011 and I remember overwhelming support for RJ then too.

Who can you see Jones losing to in his prime? Honestly, this is a guy who played wiht a prime James Toney.

                  It's ridiculous

So what, he was never the proven man at any weight. He was just a title holder. Never was Jones the true champion at any of those weights.

Bob Fitzsimmons being the man at Middle, Lightheavy and Heavy are accomplishments way beyond what Jones was capable of. Don't even put that drug cheat in the same sentence as one of the ATG's. Drug cheats should have their career wiped for cheating. Jones is a cheat.

What do you mean by if? Isn't it obvious by the words I chose?

If you can't see the connection you don't have a high enough level of education. So to guess, you've completed high school and maybe had some community college or low level college classes under your belt. If you do have a degree it's a garbage degree from a garbage institution. Online degree's don't count for a variety of reasons.

When you have a high level of education (BA, BS, Masters, PHD, etc) at a proper institution, any reputable University makes proper research a requirement for students to complete their degree. That's just how it's done.

If you really want to show due diligence, you would be posting sources like an educated man would. Not going off your old and defunct memory banks which have a massive margin of error apparently. The fact you didn't know Del Valle was Jones sparring partner means you lack real knowledge. I'm constantly posting sources to stay sharp because when we get older there are memory leaks. Happens to everybody.

The fact is this, Doug Jones wasn't Clay's sparring partner. Do some research and use some reasoning. He beat his ass all on his own. You're wrong and the fact you can't admit defeat mean's you're unteachable or approaching it. Leggo your ego.

Who we now know as Muhammed Ali has been Reverse Euhemerized. If you don't know what that means, I would suggest using Google.

Even though Clay/Ali was a really great Boxer, Ali the man was greater than Ali the fighter. Ali was good for the world in a lot of pepoples eyes, and he was great for the black community, racism, etc. All of his out of the ring persona/exploits created something bigger than Ali the Boxer which is why people refer to him as the GOAT and The Greatest. Ali wasn't the greatest, not by a long shot. People have turned an above average man into a god that should never be questioned, EVER. That's about as ignorant and archaic as it gets.
