I mean Lipinets is a good fighter, a stiff test for anyone at 140, but I don't see him as tipping the balance to the HOF. If you add some more good wins at 140, then yes, but one win against Lipinets? Nah

Yes, of course betting lines have nothing to do w entrance to the HOF. The resume determines HOF. And so far, Mikey's resume is borderline HOF. Best wins are Siri, Broner, hopefully Easter on Sat. He needs to step up his comp to be a slam dunk for the HOF
When has Floyd ever been an underdog in a fight?

He hasn't been, that Im aware of. So, what's your point?

My point was that Mikey has never sought out dangerous fights. I guess you could say the same of Floyd. Was Pac Floyd's most dangerous fight?

But Floyd beat so many good & great fighters (Chico, JLC, Cotto, Chino, Pac, etc etc) that he is a slamdunk HOF.

Mikey's resume is IN NO WAY COMPARABLE to Floyds. Currently, he is borderline HOF, IMO.

Mikey's resume is incomparable to Loma's resume.

Loma didnt just *talk* about Linares, he fought him. Russell, Axeman, Rigo...and he's done this in 5 years in the game.

So what if he stayed out of the pros until he was older? True, by staying amateur, he may have avoided a loss when he was still green (as what happened w/ Siri). But what matters to me is that once he turned pro - HE MAKES GOOD FIGHTS, w/ challenging opponents.

Mikey's got 10 years in and his resume will be Siri, Broner & (hopefully) Easter. In half the time, Loma has done twice as much as Mikey.

AND LOOOLL at whoever said that Broner will be in the HOF.

              lets compare.

              broner vs russell
              salido vs linares
              walters vs easter

we wont count rigo since he was 2 weight classes smaller

where is the difference in resume?

where is the hall of famer that loma beat? who is the guy that loma beat that makes him elite? loma is doing what a 30 yr old fighter should be doing.

and broner has won titles in 4 weight classes. he is overrated to me but there isnt a 4 weight champ thats not in the hall of fame.

Diego Corrales was the favorite and higher ranked p4p fighter the night floyd destroyed him. Now name me a fighter who floyd would have been an underdog to?

so let me guess, you werent watching boxing back then. Because if you were then you would know corrales was ranked higher than floyd on the p4p list.

and that floyd was supposes to get wiped out that night. hbo telecast mentions the odds.

i dont need google. I actially remember fights past 2010 buddy.

amd you still didnt name the fighter that would be favorited over floyd from his era that he didnt fight

Isn't the fact that he is a 4 division champ already enough to put him in there?

I mean even Broner should be.
