I agree...wilder generally shows little urgency and seems content with giving away rounds. if he can't get AJ out of there when he connects, he's getting UD'd at the very least. wilder is pretty much the definition of a fighter who relies on their power...but that power is as fight changing as anyone I've seen.

He's rated high because he has insane punching power, even for a heavyweight.

Say what you want about his boxing ability, but he's very athletic, long, and fast.

Remember, skills don't always win fights.

All that said, if he didn't have the power that he possesses, he wouldn't be nearly as good as he is.

Wilder was like 212 lbs against Ortiz who was like 250lbs and dropped him all over the place. He had the damn flu. What you think gonna happen when he trains healthy for a full camp for AJ? Pssssh. AJ barely won an old Wlad who was out for a while. That version of Ortiz could of beaten AJ or Wlad that night, REAL TALK.

Wilder fans are as bad as Trump, MAGA hat wearers and Canelo fans all rolled into one hahah. You can hit them with facts all day long and all they are going to do is change the subject on you and turn everything around and make their guy somehow look right, when he is doing it all wrong. AJ has 21 fights, 4 belts, fills the stadiums, fight top ten guys while sending the contract to Wilder for him to sign and make more money than he has in his entire career combined...yet Wilders' fans will still say that AJ is somehow ducking him hahaha. It'll never make sense. Wilder has had that belt for three years and he has yet to fight Pulev, Miller, Whyte, Takam, Fury (either one), Parker, Kownacki and a host of other top guys. But he has fought Arreola (unranked), Stiverne (#35), Washington (#37), Szpilka (31), Molina (#32), Duahapas (24). The only decent guy he fought was Ortiz who had him out on his feet. Yet somehow he's rated higher than AJ in these guys' head when AJ had fought Klitschko (HOF) Takam (#17), Parker (#9), Whyte (#8), Breazeale (10) and others that Wilder won't fight. Of course Wilder will look amazing if he's fighting this caliber of opponent. That is also the reason Wilder fights in a half sold out gym and he gets 1 million per fight instead of the 20 million or so that AJ gets.

Hes content giving away rounds bc he knows the judges at Barclays which basically Dibella runs and Alabama arent going to let him lose , the Ortiz fight made that crystal clear bc in reality Wilder barely won 2 rnds before getting the stoppage yet he was ahead on the cards ? lol

He knows not having favorable judges will force him to actually win rounds against Joshua and force him into rushing a K.O if Joshua puts a boxing lesson on him which is why he cried about a rematch .

People like Wilder now because they realize how much he can do to offset humanity's carbonprint.

Those windmills easily save the planet 1-2 million carbon particles/year

No one were Wilder fans a year ago.

They are all just jealous that AJ - a brit - is running the show. As soon as AJ smashed Wilder, they'll crawl back and claim they were never really fans to begin with.

                      Predictable
