Ok these are the facts; After Team Wilder offered AJ the $50 million he demanded. There was no reply from Team AJ. They said they will up their original offer from $12.5m to $15m. They said it would be the next fight and there will be a rematch clause.

However, when they sent Team Wilder the contract, there was no date, venue or rematch clause; Only saying that if Joshua loses there will be a rematch but if Wilder loses there will not be a rematch. However, when Finkel asked where and when the fight will take place they never answered and then they responded we will supply you the dates.

So Finkel said fine. Make sure that you will have the contract back by Friday. However, the very next day less than 12 hours to be eaxact, the WBA came down with its ruling that Povetkin vs Joshua had to be finalized in 24 hours.

Now why couldn't Hearn tell Finkel that he was under duress by the WBA to get the fight signed during the final hours of their negotiations? Or better yet why couldn't Matchroom boxing ask the WBA just for a little more time because they were on the verge of wrapping up the negotiations within only a few hours?

I'll answer that one for you because they used it as an excuse to avoid Deontay Wilder. They had no intentions of fighting him this year anyway. They were stalling and dragging out the negotiations long enough so that the WBA could intervene. In other words Team Joshua was just running out the clock.

The mandatory challenger can get paid to step aside for a few months .
Has been happening for ages .
      Where have you been ?

Lennox Lewis took a step-aside money for Tyson to be able to fight Holyfield for the undisputed title . LL was his mandatory .

Boom Boom Mancini paid Tyrone Crawley step-aside money .

When did you become a boxing fan ?
      When AJ knocked out VK?

I have no hate for AJ. I like him.
And I like him to fight Wilder.
But, it's becoming obvious, he and Hearn want no part of Wilder .
Or at least wait it out till he gets old and has more tough fights .
I don't see AJ avoiding that right cross. AJ fights tall. And Wilder knocks everyone out easily who fights tall .

AJ obviously is the favourite to win, but Wilder has a puncher's chance.

I'm saying it would be pointless to pay step-aside money if Wilder was just going to refuse the offer and come out and say he wants half. Therefore Joshua and Hearn would have wasted their money because they would have had to fight Povetkin anyway.

I don't think Povetkin would have went for that anyway. He did an interview not long ago and said he wanted the fight straight away and that he wasn't willing to do a step-aside deal. The interview was put up on the main page.

Who are these fighters that Wilder knocked out that fought tall?

And nothing is easy for Wilder. Do you even watch his fights? He struggles nearly every time. And he struggles against bums. Good job Ortiz only had 2 rounds of stamina otherwise Deontay was done.

                Fake news

You posting lies is not a fact

Aj said the fight is to happen in be uk

                Wilder agreed

Wilder said it’s a 100m fight an aj said fine give him 50m

Wilder tried to be sly and have it in the usa

Aj put him in his place stating it has to be in the uk

He then sent a 15m offer

Wilder never responded for 4 weeks, team Joshua embarrassed Wilde by exposing him and suddenly they sent notes back

He original dates were lost so team Joshua said they are arranging the venues for November on cardif multiple times in the press and in emails

Team wilder then don’t respond for 6 days

Hearn again goes to the press saying wtf are doing wba will force us to fight povetkin if you don’t hurry

Team wilder then state they will send the contract back by Friday which was 4 days later Lol

They also go to espn stating this which the wba see and then call povetkin again saying there will be no more extensions and it happens next

Team wilder then get what they want and start yapping on the net

No idea how you came up with your story but you should write fantasy novels dude

                  More BS excuses.
If the mandatory challenger was going to be an issue, it would have been brought up way before they did .

What the hell do you mean "More" excuses? I'm not saying anything different to my other post. I'm just clarifying on what I said.

Hearn was bringing the mandatory situation up with Finkle right from the get-go. They knew they only had a certain time-frame in which to get the fight done. But Finkle intentionally wasted time just so he could force the mandatory and blame Hearn and Joshua for the fight not happening.

And to state yet again, what would be the point in paying Povetkin to step aside if Wilder wasn't going to take the deal anyway?

Yeah, a hypothetical q over a situation you hypothetically assume was going to happen.

Mega fights are made when the two parties really want it to happen .

In this case, sorry, Hearn and AJ do not want any part of Wilder now .

Just about the same when Tyson and Bowe wanted no part of Lewis . Same sh8.
