I am a Joshua fan and granted he says some ****** stuff but he has a contract signed ready for Wilder to sign so this mega fight will get made. Though you will focus on his quotes and the 50 million duck. Meanwhile celebrate Wilders willingness to make the fight and congratulate him for making a stand on 50/50. What they offered Wilder is bull#hit I can say that but yet he agreed publicly yet he didn’t sign. Let me guess because he didn’t know the Venue and date? So what is he agreeing to then? Listen I can never question his motivation for the fight but his team were not as committed as he was. They come as a package they? Similar to Hearn and Joshua

Not sure why you're quoting me, but I'm a Joshua fan also. It's clear as day that they didn't want the fight next, and did everything to ensure it didn't happen next.I am a Joshua fan and granted he says some ****** stuff but he has a contract signed ready for Wilder to sign so this mega fight will get made. Why wouldn't anyone focus on his quotes and the $50m? That happened. Also, Wilder agreed to the offer for the fight to be next. It clearly wasn't going to be, so it would be silly to sign that now for a fight in April, when the landscape could've changed significantly. We're talking 9 months here.Comment

It's still a contract for $15m. I can't see Wilder boosting his revenue that high in one fight given that all of the best options in the division are tied up. The best name he could fight would be Ortiz rematch. That's not going to do a great deal for his earning potential. Not sure why you're quoting me, but I'm a Joshua fan also. I'd sign for the $15m. Even if Joshua got KOd by Povetkin, it's still a big paydayComment

What hypothetically, the Povetkin fight has a massive positive impact, and the fight now becomes worth $200m in the UK. Wilder is left with a $15m cheque with no upside. Does that sound like a smart move? It's still a contract for $15m. I can't see Wilder boosting his revenue that high in one fight given that all of the best options in the division are tied up. I’m a londoner so whilst I’d be more happy if AJ won, it wouldn’t bother me too much if Wilder did.
The only times where I think I’d want AJ to knock him for six is when I see/read some of these nauseous americans being emotional and biased.Comment
