broner last fight in cincy did bad in ticket sales. (taylor) that is why he no longer fights in cincy

mikey, santa cruz, mares are all mexican american so i dont count them. they have a all mexican fan base basically they are mexican.

im pretty much talking black fighters
If you want to talk about only Black American fighters, you should say that.

Errol Spence Jr sold out The Star in Frisco, TX, at pretty aggressive prices, to fight a guy who was basically unknown; do you really think he can't sell 10000 for even his next tickover fight in the Dallas area?

... and Broner fought both Khabib Alhakverdiev and Adrien Granados in Cincinnati, both fights after the Taylor fight.

Incidentally, for those interested in hard numbers over anecdotes, the boxers earning the most in purses for the last year were (according to Forbes) :-

        1 Mayweather ($275m)
        2 McGregor ($85m)
        3 Canelo ($42m)
        4 Joshua ($32m)
        5 Golovkin ($23m)
Yeah but that's also not a great way of looking at it.

Canelo fought a huge all Mexican fight and then GGG.

Joshua fought Wlad and Takam. Takam is virtually unknown. I'd imagine if Joshua v Fury happened, which would be the equivalent of Canelo v Chavez, then the numbers might look very different.

It's hard to take any list seriously like that. It's heavily dependant on who you are fighting i.e Conor v Floyd. Neither would've made a fraction of that if they fought Jessie Vargas..

There's just way too many factors involved to get a real accurate measure. I'd say Joshua is no.1 in terms of carrying a PPV on his own as the main draw, simply because his numbers are consistent regardless of opponent. Canelo's drop off significantly with lesser known opponents. Canelo's numbers are still great, but he relies on the scale of the event a bit more than AJ does.

They generate less money thats only because here they don't charge 80 dollars for ppv.
And if they did i still gurantee you joshua would still sell millions.
Joshua vs klitchcko 1.8 million ppv
            Joshua vs parker. 1.5 million
            Joshua vs takam. 1.4 mllion

Canelo vs glovkin 1.4 million ppv
            Canelo vs chavez 1.1 million
            Canelo vs smith. 475 k

Now is the thing the uk has 68 million population and the us has a 385 million population ser per ratio joshua is a 5x bigger draw
Source for the Takam and Parker fights drawing 1.4m homes in the UK lol. (Remember that simple match should tell you that 1.4m homes, @£20 per home, basically gets you to $40m for Sky and Matchroom to split, on top of the $2m-$3m that came from Showtime for the US rights, on top of a soldout 70k-seat venue in Cardiff at premium prices)

If Anthony Joshua was actually on that type of money, the $50m wouldn't have scared the whole camp the way it did

LOL, who got scared by the $50mil offer, its the Wilder fans that like to make a big deal out of it. Should wait and see what his Matchroom and DAZN deals look like before claiming it as a victory

so you count klitschko vs joshua ppv but not floyd vs canelo ppv?

21 million dollars a fight joshua makes and even if the price was increased to £50 people would still buy in droves.
Now the 80 dollars that are spent on a canelo fight is split in half before it even go's to the fight side so its more like 40 dollars that end up on the boxing event even you cannot be that kind of an idiot.
Time warner , comserve all get that other 50% plus yiur side of the pond there is 380 million people to sell to plus america has ingrained meican heritage so really when you consider the size joshua is a bigger draw.
Canelo drawing power is a lot less when he don't face a golovkin or a chavez hence why he only sold 450k against smith and 600k against khan.
Don't dress up canelo as if he is a mega star like a pacquaio or mayweather because he ain't
