That’s more than Parker had even with his percentage
If the fight is bigger, then there's no way Wilder should accept a flat fee. Nobody gets a flat fee in a fight this big.

Wilder doesn’t want it and saying 50/50 or no fight shows that .. can’t really say anymore than that
Wilder said yes to everything, so clearly he wanted it. He doesn't want it anymore because he did everything possible and it still wasn't enough. He's moved on. If Hearn wants to negotiate again, they're starting from scratch.

I'm not knocking AJ, he's a good fighter. A very good fighter. But all this nonsense about A side and B side, about selling out 90k stadiums is getting ridiculous. Selling out stadiums does not make you the best. Ask Frank Bruno. He was the UK's favorite heavyweight for years. May actually still be. That didn't make him the best, did it?

AJ is the one that backed out of the 50 million he demanded and then backed out of the 15 million he offered. Wilder is right to have given up. If Hearn wants the fight in a new year, there will have to be a new deal. Flat fee is out the window.

Saying and doing are very different things.

When the contract arrived, Wilder didn't sign it.

When Joshua asked for a contract Wilder didn't send it.

Wilder says a lot of things and doesn't follow through. He said it's not about money. It's about legacy.

And he had turned down 5 career high purse fight offers in total to fight Dillian Whyte or Anthony Joshua. 2 legitimate top 5 fighters. He claimed nobody wanted to fight him. They all scared.

Yet we are expected to crucify AJ for saying something on YouTube and ignore Wilders own contradictions and lies? After all, Wilder is the one who has no track record of keeping his word. Joshua is the one who has achieved twice as much as Wilder in half the fights.

Because the contract didn't have a date and Hearn said he'd get the date in a few days. When Hearn finally sent the date, it was for 2019. Wilder never ever had a chance to sign for a fight in 2018.

When Joshua asked for a contract Wilder didn't send it.
Hearn didn't send a contract until Wilder accepted the offer. Wilder didn't send a contract because AJ rejected the offer. Pretty simple. Hearn's own actions show you send a contract after the offer has been accepted, not before.

Wilder says a lot of things and doesn't follow through. He said it's not about money. It's about legacy.
Which is why he accepted a low ball flat fee for the biggest fight in world boxing. The only one that didn't follow through is AJ, who said he'd sign tomorrow if they gave him 50 million and he refused to keep his word.

And he had turned down 5 career high purse fight offers in total to fight Dillian Whyte or Anthony Joshua.
You have no idea what Wilder actually makes, so you don't know if the Whyte offers were higher or not.

You do know that 50 million would be a career high purse for AJ and he still turned it down.

AJ's contradiction actually happened. Wilder's "contradiction" you invented in your head.

                Keep smoking that crack.

Wilder says it's about the best vs the best.

Wilder has turned down 5 career high purses to fight 2 of the top 5 heavyweights in the world because the money wasn't enough even though he only makes $2.1m.

                Facts.

Wilder and his team said yes to the deal but only after they thought that AJ had agreed to fight Povetkin. There was news in the media leaked by people like Frank Warren saying a deal was agreed.

At this point team Wilder publicly say they agree to the deal. It backfires though and they **** themselves when Hearn actually sends the contract as a deal with Povetkin was not finalised yet.

At this point they play around and delay signing or sending comments as they realise they are cornered.

When AJ can't get any more extensions and has to fight Povetkin team Wilder go yelling to the media that AJ ducked. Despite the fact they had a contract in front of them they just had go sign.

Hearn says the same offer still stands for a fight in April.

Wilder says he won't accept anything less than 50 50 and exposes the truth to the public who it was that didnt want the fight all along.
