I’m a Joshua fan and I constantly read your rants accusing people of being biased even dumb and you come on here saying Joshua knocked out Takam and outboxed Parker . Then you refer to Hearn as too smooth.WTF. You have said enough already just keep your trap closed on the matter becauseyour opinion is a tad discombobulated. I say that with the greatest of respectComment

If Wilder isn’t Joshua’s April opponent, I’d argue that a pretty high amount of boxing fans won’t recognize Joshua as the champ/man in the division. No sense in getting the belts and avoiding the biggest fight out there for you and more importantly, the best HW matchup for the fans (i.e. the people who pay your salaries).Comment

This fight is not a 100 + million fight no matter where it takes place. Deontay Wilder definitely has to become a bigger name for that to be the case. Deontay Wilder's people are the only ones claiming that the fight does those kinds of numbers.Comment

Terence Crawford P4P best. I agree but he needs to stay away from Errol Spence, Jr. and pick on people his own size.Comment

AJ has got Whyte, Pulev, Miller, T Fury and probably H Fury of top 10ishhe can fill stadia and make 20M£. Wilder can't make that money with anybody other than AJ. Why would Wilder risk a top 10 fight for 3M$. The numbers suggest Wilder will sign for April or fight cans until 51-1 if the WBC go soft on him.Comment

You don't know what Wilder actually makes. Filed purses are bogus.
Even if you want to go by filed purses, GGG only made 1 million in his last fight, but is still getting 45% against Canelo.
It takes two to create a megafight. Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. AJ vs Wilder is a massive fight because both are undefeated, it's UK vs US, it's for the undisputed title, both are the most popular heavyweights in their countries, both are extremely tall, it's a fight people have wanted for a long time.
There has never been a fight that big in boxing history where the B-side got a flat fee. Never. If Parker got 33%, Wilder should be getting around 38-40%. And really whoever is coming to the other guy's country should be compensated additionally for that. So 66/33 in the US or 60/40 in the UK is probably what's fair for this fight.Comment

As long as Deontay Wilder believes that he should get paid the same amount of money as Anthony Joshua and that he should dictate the location of the fight and is using Joshua's popularity to promote himself he is the only person to blame for the fight not happening. I saw Deontay Wilder get knocked out in the amateurs. I have seen how slow his handlers have brought his career along. And now I see that he wants to be granted status that he hasn't earned by manipulating the fans with Bob Arum style negotiations tactics. What Wilder and Finkel are doing is trying to use Joshua to price themselves up.Comment
