I agree that 50% is absolutely ridiculous. Deontay knows that. He's just puffing his chest. He'd take 40% to go to the UK. Flat fee is out the window and honestly flat fee is also ridiculous.

AJ signing puts no pressure. Deontay is ready to move on. He wants Fury now.

So you could say both Wilder and AJ are on par.
I know, I was responding to a post which referred to paper titles.

Hearn is a scam artist, he better hope his Diva doesn’t get knocked out by PEDvetkin in his next fight, take that contract and shove it up your rear. $100 million dollar fight and trying to give Wilder $15 million, you are the definition of a SNAKE!!! BEAT IT!!! DUCK!!!!

Wilder beat the #2 fighter in the world to win his title. AJ beat the #9 fighter in the world to win his title, then beat an unranked fighter to pick up a vacant belt and beat the #6 fighter in the world to win a third title.

Which is more impressive? Doesn't matter. AJ unified three recognized belts and if it was so easy to do that, everybody would be doing it. For AJ to become unified WBA/IBF/WBO champion in so few fights makes him an all time great already. AJ is going down in the record books no matter what. Paper titles or not, unifying three belts at heavyweight is incredibly difficult to do.

Its easy to unify titles when the other champs want to fight you. Parker chose to fight AJ instead of Wilder because of the payday. Wilder was willing to step in and fight Parker when Hughie Fury pulled out the first time. AJ got the IBF because they were willing to over pay for the fight, Haymon could have made that fight with Wilder but I guess Haymon looked out for Martin.

Valid points, but in sports you can always find reasons to pick things apart. He still unified three recognized world heavyweight titles in 20 something fights. An incredible feat no matter how you slice it.

Yes Wilder tried to get Parker in the ring. Yes Haymon could have steered Martin towards Wilder. But AJ is the cash cow and with that comes certain advantages. That's the nature of the beast in almost any sport.

Wilder and AJ have both accomplished great things and I would love to see an undisputed champion regardless of who wins. Even though even Hearn would concede that the WBC is the most prized possession, unifying three recognized world heavyweight titles is still more historically significant than winning the WBC on its own.

Wilder is turning his attention to two things: retiring 51-0, and winning the lineal title. Both of which would do wonders for his legacy. If Wilder and AJ never fight, so be it. Wilder becoming lineal champion and 51-0 would mean more than whatever AJ does if AJ never becomes undisputed. It is a very precious moment in time right now to try to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion. Has never happened in the four belt era and if it doesn't happen soon, it may not happen for a very long time. Those IBF mandatories are a *****.

Take this fight to Africa like the "Rumble in the Jungle" fight. Nigerians will pack the stadium for this fight.

I wouldn't sign a contract for the future! who knows what can happen, aj can lose, get injured or look pathetic and wilder would still be locked in to a future date with a flat fee. also hearn needs to change that stance on wilder being the b side in a rematch even if he wins... if wilder wins he should be the A side in the rematch. when wilder said he agreed to the terms he agreed to 15mil flat fee for a fight NEXT with aj not in april 2019. what hearn is doing is very smart you have to give it to him. hes knows he looks bad with all these contradictions, hes on record saying the 50mil was real but they want less to fight at home, aj is being called out left n right for his silence then showing up in a picture hanging upside down, wilder wont sign that and next thing you know, he will give the slot to the winner of whyte vs parker and say wembley wont hold the date if there is no opponent or some crazy crap.
