The date was blank in the contract and needed to be filled in. Finkel was waiting for Hearn to tell him what to fill in. When Hearn finally gave an answer, he told him to fill in April. That is when Wilder's side walked away from the fight because Hearn broke his promise that the fight would be next.

That would be speculating, again Hearn is on media talking about this fight not happening in September due to Canelo/GGG rematch (That’s a no brained), he said something along the lines of October/November depending on the availability of Wembley/Cardiff. So no way would he ask Shelly to sign for the fight to happen in April. This looks like Shelly is playing you. I truly believe they both are in on it, which you believing everything Shelly is selling you.

how can you say theres no way hearn would ask them to sign for april when hearn, since last week, has been publicly lobbying for them to sign for april?

So you are saying that hearn switched contracts somehow? He left the date blank, then suddenly switched april next year in? He must have thought wilder would sign, what was he going to do then, say eh sorry wilder its for next year actually. He would have looked like a right plank for that.

I dont know what happened exactly but i hope it comes out soon. There are things missing in this, too many holes and stuff that doesnt really add up imo, hearn giving a contract 2 months ago for only april or beyond next year is very strange business practice, having povet all wrapped up long ago too, there were better ways of doing that it would seem to me

i dont take any of those guys face value, i just think the process is not right, it just doesnt smell right, something missing imo, but u have your views so thats all good, i could be all wrong

who cares now, the fight will happen next year, maybe its for the best, it was getting too messy anyway
