After all that talk about prior relationships being part of the reason for pause on the $50m offer, Eddie Hearn is now looking to lock down Deontay Wilder for two fights, for $20m, to say to hell with the relationship that Wilder has built with Showtime, lol.

Deontay Wilder drew an average of 1.1m homes (not counting how many of the nearly 3m users of the Showtime app who chose to tune in) for the Luis Ortiz fight on Showtime.

He's almost at the point where you have to move him to CBS or SHOPPV.

Good luck trying to talk his way out of this one

**** Eddie Hear. He knows that he's soiled his and Joshua's name in the US after this ****-show of a negotiation and is now scratching at everything he can to repair that image. I'm sure SHO will compensate Deontay well after this so no dice here.

Hell if I'm team Wilder I'm starting negotiations back from square 1. That 15million was for getting the fight next. You want it later, cool up the percentage split. If not, Joshua already looks like a coward and if Wilder lands a Fury fight he can still get a good ppv

Yeah, with small print in the contract shackling him to Matchroom and DAZN as well as a Faustian clause to hand over his soul, no doubt. Obvious damage control attempt. Somehow I don't see Wilder taking him up on it, just a hunch.

He said this on his IFLTV interview, fight someone in NYC for $5m and then Fight AJ in April 2019 (13th or 19th I can't remember) as part of a deal that sees Wilder pocket $20m altogether I think.
